Baileys Court Inn Description

Bailey’s Court Inn is a local community pub situated in the centre of Bradley Stoke, Bristol. We offer a wide range of beers and lagers to compliment our traditional pub food and we have Sky Sports & BTSport regularly showing so that you can see all the live sport as well. We have a great patio area for those sunny British days and there’s always something going on – a pub quiz, live music and much more. So whenever you pop down with family or friends we look forward to welcoming you at Bailey's Court Inn.

Do you like any of our pictures? Due to the refurbishment we will be selling our old artwork. This is a chance for regulars at the pub to keep a piece of the pubs history. Come and take a look at what we have and make an offer. The offer will be noted down and the highest offer wins. We have some fantastic pictures and frames. Ask at the bar for details.

On Sunday the 30th we close for 2 weeks for a major refurbishment. Part of this refurbishment will see us change our Carvery deck into a pizza station. We will still serve Sunday roasts but these will be from the kitchen rather than as a carvery. We are so excited to be bringing pizza to the pub and will be serving pizza until late on a Friday and Saturday night to takeaway. 🍕🍕🍕🍕

Some of the changes will be: -The front entrance changing location slightly -The back bar changing to white tiles and metal framework rather than our old fashioned wooden back bar.

There has been lots of talk about the pub getting a much needed re-furb the initial plan was for this to be done last year but due to a lot of reasons it was held off until this year. But we are happy to announce that we have a closing date for the works to be carried out! 🎉🎉 The pub will be closing on the 30th of September and we are looking to reopen around the 15th of October. The plans look amazing and after visiting some other H17 concept pubs we can all say that we are more than excited about how our pubs going to look!
We will still be offering Live music, Discos, quiz nights and poker etc. But we will be adding a pizza kitchen and giving the whole place a fresh new look. Keep an eye out in the pub and on Facebook for more updates and pictures of how we are going to look. 😊😊😊

I came here today with my wife for a feative 3 course meal and i have to say that i was very impressed. We were full up before our pudding arrived and the quality and quantity of the food were both really impressive.

We were served by a lady named Ashley who was really warm natured and pleasent.

We will gladly return.

After a hard few weeks, ending in a family funeral, we decided yesterday we just couldn't be fussed to eat anything at all. A suggestion to pop into Bailey's Court for a bite to eat didn't draw much enthusiasm under our recent circumstances but we needed to eat. Oh how glad we all were that we did ! Good hot food , arrived promptly , on hot plates ! nothing was too much trouble & Charlotte was just gorgeous, her smile made my day .... thank you guys, you brightened up six very weary souls

User

its always easy to be critical, i went in last night and ben was making sure the new barrel was perfect for today, the two bar people donna and georgie were serving, tidying, stacking up non stop.. its easy to be critical but when they are rushed off their feet they really try to do their best ... why is it people are always keen to moan but never praise ....well done staff

User

Food & beer good just not enough staff one chef last Sunday still well done chef !

User

2nd time in 8 weeks no fosters lager first excuse was the snow although we visited a week after the snow this time they had ran out! A pub with no beer

User

The band was good but still allowing very young people to get drunk. Spoils what can be very good night's.

User

We live local but have not visited for 12 months because of bad experience with food at Baileys. Thought we would try again. Still rubbish food. Sticky tables. Staff not trained. Always empty glasses on tables. Such a shame because it could be buzzing if they got their act together. We will stick with Fox Den Stoke Gifford for food, different class.

Three Brooks ok as well. Give Baileys a miss this Xmas and probably next one after. Management need training to.

User

Staff over worked seeing it was a Friday night, which tend to lead to mistakes being made ,with customers money & food orders, I feel they need to train more staff for working behind the bar, two is not enough crowds of customers waiting to be served, it took a very long time getting served . Also!!!!! I would like to point out there was a lot of very young looking adults in there getting served, with alcohol, not sure, if the under age ID was being asked, it felt almost like being in a youth club , which, I got to say is off putting

User

Local pub and beautiful evening so decided to go out for meal and discovered had changed the menu. DO NOT EAT IN THIS PUB. Any 'monkey' could cook this food. All was frozen and then fried or microwaved food - couldn't even get salad right.

Customer service was non existent - real shame as used to be a lovely, family pub but obviously been taken over by new management who couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery!

I won't consider this pub as my local any more .....

User

Good beer, Awful food, done hoping it will improve. Crisps or scratchings from here on. The Nachos especially were a disgrace for nearly 8 quid..

User

Came to take part in the Sunday night quiz as we have done for years and years to be told it is canceled at the last minute because of the football, didnt think to tell all the teams that where here last week it wasnt going to be on,its not as if they didnt know it was the euro 16 final this week!!

User

Went to this pub today for a drink of two, only to find out that it was shut, due to an electric problem or something, anyway I was thoroughly disappointed and did not expect it to be closed.

User

Waited almost an hour for our meal, ask to see the manager who was upstairs. After waiting 30 minutes for him, Chris, was told he had gone home. The staff was run ragged with one in tears. Haven't been here for a while and I most definitely won't go back. Such a shame cause it could be a really good place. When the food did eventually come it was a child's portion.

User

Unfriendly bar staff.

The pub smells.

People take drugs in the toilet.

So tonight was the worse experience we have ever had whilst going out for a meal. We should of stayed in with a take away and saved our money. First of all, we had to wait half an hour for our food then they got our order wrong, not once but twice. The mammoth mixed grill was not worth £15 and the meat was terrible. All steaks were not cooked per order. A child's pizza that I wouldn't even give to a dog it was that bad even the child refused to even eat it. The steaks was cooked way over done and chewy when they should of been medium/ medium-rare. When approaching a member of staff there I received no apology just looked dazzled and as if he was in experienced in dealing with this and got the manager in which again no apology. He took our food away and we waited another 20 minutes for it to be done. I asked for beans instead of peas and it came out with peas again when I specifically asked for beans. We will not be returning as this was the worse experience we have ever had and we have been to a lot of places to eat. The manager didn't even come back to check to see if the food was okay after that. Massive disappointment and just a total fuck up if you ask me

User

Not even sure where to start....

Bar service was shocking, 3 members of staff 1 of which I presume was new and still learning, shame the manager... guessing (other female behind the bar) couldn’t stop messing around stealing peoples sun glasses or screaming about not being brought a drink by a local.

Food even worse (party of 6)

After waiting 55 minutes a member of staff came out and said they had no veggie burgers left which we had ordered 2 of, changed meals and then continued to wait another 40 minutes until food arrived. The young waitress either was having a night from hell or was just joining in with the current lack of customer service.

Hot plates passed over with no warning one of which to one of our family members who struggles with mobility due to being in a wheel chair. After slamming meals down asked if we wanted anything else, when we added we were still waiting for food she rudely snapped back that shes getting that now... then why ask? Again slammed remaining food and condiments down and walked off.

Cottage pie burnt

Onion rings anaemic and uncooked in the centre

Chicken popcorn (forgotten what they are called) didn’t even remotely resemble chicken anymore but over cooked chewy pieces that oddly tasted of beef and onion crisps!!!

Won’t be returning.

After such an amazing day celebrating a friends 60th it was a disappointment that we ended in here!
