Lovely cottages in a beautiful location

We have just returned from six wonderful days in The Shamba at Bain Valley cottages and we will definitely be going back, this accommodation is a barn conversion of a very high standard, it is immaculate and spotlessly clean. The whole ambience is one of tranquillity and relaxation and yet there was lots of space for our grandchildren to play when they joined us for a day. The location is perfect for exploring the Lincolnshire Wolds and we had a fascinating time at the Steampunk festival at Lincoln castle.
The kitchen in the cottage is equipped with everything you can think of, even a plate of homemade chocolate brownies awaited our arrival and the hosts Wendy and John seem to have thought of everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
We would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation to anyone, it was perfect.

Myself, my sister and our five children stayed here for a long weekend. The cottages are so lovely - really clean and beautifully presented. I loved all of the artwork on the walls, much of which is done by the host Wendy's daughter. Wendy was so warm and welcoming (& provided the most delicious chocolate brownies as a welcome treat!) The immediate area that the cottages are in is stunning (& if you have a dog, perfect for walking them) and there is just so much to do in the surrounding area - we squeezed in a beach trip, a farm trip and a woodland walk in the three days we were there.) The price for two cottages was so reasonable too. We had a really great stay and whole-heartedly recommend the cottages.

I was looking for a place to unwind and get away from it all and the cottages at Bainvalley were just what I needed. The cottages are dog friendly so that was great for me as I like to go on walks with my dog. The setting is so tranquil and very relaxing. The countryside is on your doorstep here so great if you like to go for walks or bike rides which I do. I ventured to the beach which was just a short drive away and even in January the sun was shining. Wendy was the perfect host and she dealt with all my enquiries quickly and made me feel very welcome. If you're thinking of booking I'd say go for it! Thank you for a lovely break.

Me and aj had a fabulous 2 days in the Bach for my birthday,it was amazing..
The cottage is so beautiful and the view from the patio was unbelievable..
I loved waking up in the mornings,making a cuppa and sitting outside listening to the sound of the cows mooing in the field.
The Bach is very lovely and cosy and has everything you need..
