It’s been a busy start to the week but good news the camera kits will be available again next week we are on with making another batch of kits we suspect these won’t last long so get one bought while you have the chance

I little follow up from our previous post we said we are no longer making the winch cameras we had on test but what we didn’t say is we have redesigned the dual camera kit so it looks nothing like what’s out on the market at the moment but it will function in the same way and an added bonus they are easier to make and take less time so cost will also be reduced there will be no pictures of the external shape until it has been registered with the intellectual property office w...e will continue to make them as long as we can compete with prices from our competitors hopefully in 2019 we can provide customers with more choice as it stands at the moment there’s only one company in the UK to buy from and that’s not good for the consumer competition is a good thing it gives people choice and forces sellers to improve there product and in most cases reduces cost to keep up with there competitors the end result the consumer will benefit bring on 2019

For those that have asked We will no longer be making the winch cameras that we had out on test as most of you will know it caused some upset with fisheye camera kits which is very understandable, although it was never intentional and now fisheye has registered the design with the intellectual property office and fair play to fisheye for doing so as he designed and put it together so he deserves all the credit and we also wish him all the best in the future.With our kits being so alike (apart from the price) it would be patent infringement if we was to carry on so we are sorry but we can no longer make or sell the winch cameras that we had out on test.

Spyder black widow mk2 in for repairs and upgrades it come to us as the customer was having no end of trouble with the boat not working as it should motors are cutting out intermittently receiver not powering on intermittent fault and worst of all smoke started pouring out the hull while being used on closer inspection we found that the boat had been worked on at some point in its life we found bare wiring inside the boat and the speed controllers just sat inside the hull an...d not secured and also the wiring for them had not been soldered they had been pushed into bullet connectors and then covered with silicone sleeves the led bulb wiring had not been covered either and bare wiring showing and to top it off it’s leaking water through the motor shafts it’s a disaster waiting to happen be careful who you get to work on your boats we are stripping this back to a bare shell and starting again but we will be fitting speed controllers that can run upto 6s lipo batterys new motors capable of running upto 30v and will be running the boat on 4s 16000mah batterys so will be fast and good battery life we will be setting it up so it can be switched via the handset to run 2 different speeds so it won’t be to fast for finding spots with the toslon I will post a few pics to show what the internals look like fair to say it was a mess but now it’s stripped to a bare hull ready for repairs

Another happy customer just left us a review about his viper mk3 we recently repaired for his trip to France we converted to 2.4ghz replaced the leaking motor shaft seals and repaired a leak on the the hopper door catch stripped all the 10yr old electrics and replaced with modern waterproof speed controllers and new wiring the boat can also be used with lipo batterys to reduce weight and extend the run time it was then all resealed and lake tested all ready for his trip to France 🇫🇷

New lease of life for this viper mk3 the boat was dropped off with us as the customer had a trip to France booked and come to check his boat found it wouldn’t turn on and also noticed it had been leaking water inside the boat with most of the wiring corroded so we removed all the old electrics that were 10yrs old and replaced with modern waterproof speed controllers and now the boat can also be used with lipo batterys to reduce weight and increase run time we replaced all the... old wiring , checked for water leaks and found both motor seals leaking and the hopper door catch so we replaced the seals and repaired the leak on the catch we also upgraded the handset to digital 2.4ghz for better range and no interference from other boat users we then resealed and lake tested the boat all in time ready for the customers trip to France 🇫🇷 take a look at our review we received from our happy customer

Camera kits will be out on test over the weekend on Eric’s willows will have some footage and videos this weekend

A little something else we have been working on the last week or so is our bait boat cameras and we will be testing for the next few weeks got a few choices of underwater cameras to test but once we are happy with the clarity of the cameras they will be on sale our plan is make a camera kit that can plug into the charging ports so no need for extra battery’s or power packs each camera kit will come with the appropriate lead to fit the boat you have so will be plug and play all that will be needed is a fpv screen so you can see the footage from the bank but this is something else that we are looking into and once we find a screen we are happy with it will be sold as a complete kit

Waverunner mk4 in for a diagnostic check the boat wouldn’t respond to forward or reverse but would turn left and right opened up the handset to reveal the throttle potentiometer was insecure and not sending the signal to the boat nice cheap fix and saved the customer £250 for a new handset
