Really very poor customer service, in my opinion, way below that offered by other authorised Rolex and Tudor dealers in the region.
- I put a deposit down for a new watch and enquired if they would change the strap for me if I brought it with me upon payment and collection - they indicated this would be fine and never mentioned not being able to change for a non OEM strap, I made the journey...then they refused, meaning I had to accept it or lose my deposit. I reluctantly saw the purchase through but regretted it shortly afterwards.
- I then accidentally very lightly marked the watch case trying to remove a glued on sticker left on by the dealer (which subsequently I've discovered other dealers remove for you).
- A day or two after buying the watch, I rang to enquire if I had any options to return, part exchange etc and told them I'd worn the watch. I was encouraged to travel back over to 'see what they could do'. When I got there they refused to do anything - no return, no offer to buy back as pre-owned, no part exchange - which leaves me wondering why they thought it was worth me coming back over at all?! They said they don't take pre-owned watches, even though they are selling at least one in their window and online.
- at the time I didn't expect a refund, just some help to find a solution, but you should be aware that if you buy a brand new product from their store and wish to return it, even if unworn, they do not refund at all - just exchange or issue credit. In my experience this is very unusual policy.
- I have subsequently been offered a credit note for the balance minus the cost of refurbishment (for the mark I made taking off the sticker I feel the dealer should have removed), but since I've now purchased a replacement watch a credit note is not much use to me.

I recent brought a necklace from Baker Brothers and I have amazing customer service from the staff, lovely store and I'm very pleased with the purchase. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting jewellery and I have 0 complaints

I don't think its an exaggeration to say that the service levels are below standard.

My advice to anyone buying from this store: keep well away. Find a store with knowledgeable and friendly staff. If you have bought from here, check the facts by a fully qualified gemologist. There's nothing worse than being miss-sold.
