Very poor. I rang and asked if they were open and when I arrived with my 12 month year old son and wife they said they were closed.

Service is not great. There were at least 4 people working and no one bothered to greet me. Nice atmosphere but it's a shame the service is bad. Food is alright.

Went in just looking for something quick for lunch. Staff were rude and unhelpful, chicken was dry and the avocado and tomato salad had so much lemon in it that it was nearly unpalatable.

Utterly rubbish service. Pancakes were about 1 inch thick. They forgot to bring our drinks, when we asked for them they still managed to only bring 3 out if 4 drinks, but they did put it on the bill. Never again.

Busy little shop. Great baked goods. Struggled a bit with orders and wasps.

Went at the end of the day. No fresh juices as they were closing in an hour. Cake was OK and mint tea good. Nothing special, but tables outside made the experience pleasant.

So many problems with one breakfast:- Eggs Benedict (no hollandaise when brought to table - when questioned, waitress took back and returned saying that the hollandaise had "run out" before we had even ordered, but she forgot to tell us - and the eggs had been poached until the yolks were solid); Gruyere & Ham omelette (hair on plate, underneath omelette); American pancakes (leaden consistency and no flavour); iced Caffe Latte (tepid/lukewarm and unblended when first brought to table - waitress said there was an issue with the machine, and I waited 10 minutes or more and then was brought something good). The only part of the order that had no problems was the Earl Grey tea!
It must be said that the service and the staff were very nice and warm, so it was a shame that the kitchen let them down so badly. The place was very busy, so perhaps we suffered the shortfall in quality as they struggled to meet the demand - but I can only judge the place on my experience, which was awful. I may stop here again, but only for tea or something that I would find hard for the kitchen to ruin as well they did our food today.
Must also say that we described our disappointment to one of the serving staff (as well as our compliments on the service and our waitress.. who was good, the problems aside). These were relayed back to the management and we were asked to only pay half our bill as an apology.

One of my favourite cafes... my go to place for breakfast if I am in the area! Great service and good food!
