We are 3 today! We've never really done birthdays or anniversaries so instead of talking about ourselves we would like to thank all of you wholeheartedly for being a part of Bake Street. From our amazing customers, various team members and all of our family that help us open and continue to support us. We always wanted to be a place for people in our community and you have been so amazing that people come from far and wide to see us and we have grown into an insanely busy pla...ce. Yangyeom Fried Chicken Benedict. Taking our love for real KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) and making a brunch dish that just makes so much sense. Summer is nearly over! This year we won't be taking a break but will be closing the kitchen from the 23rd of August till the 3rd of September (opening again on the 6th) so that we can produce some new brunch classics. We are still open for brunch this weekend and Monday so come see us! We will still be open for coffee, cake and toasties during the next couple of weeks and perhaps there will be a few surprises too. #StreetEatsFest will be on at @oldspitalfieldsmarket, 3rd & 4th August and our very own @everingcake will have a stand selling amazing cakes (it's going to be quite something) at the event. Our friends flat and possessions have been completely destroyed by the fire in Mile End yesterday. She's a mother to a beautiful baby boy and luckily they were not harmed but as you can imagine this next year will be so hard for her. First child, first love, first success and this in a sense represents all of those things. It's been on the menu nearly as long as we have been open and still continues to enjoyed by countless people every week. It embodies what we wanted Bake Street to be, familiar but out of the ordinary, delicious, generous and enticing. We'll keep going that extra mile, making all the accompaniments and sauces from scratch and hopefully you'll continue to enjoy what we make. The best burger in the UK...shame about the opening times...but still the best burger in the UK...juicy and bursting with flavour...did I mention they make the best burger in the UK!

Prior to a long journey to Bradford I thought I would go and visit baker Bake Street for some breakfast. It was no surprise that the treats on offer were a real delight as the owner has a real passion for baked goods, hot drinks and dining of all cuisines. The egg st muffin was so delicate in taste and texture and was seasoned to perfection, this was washed down with a well and truly full bodied, thick and frothy latte and not to forget the sweet treat that was an exceedingly moist salted chocolate brownie that was devine. Thank you for an amazing breakfast and I can't wait to visit again next time I'm in London to try the brunch menu.

Nice breakfast options with fresh ingredients. Staff were helpful and friendly. Will definitely be returning to try more. Loads of options for those with a sweet tooth. Amazing cakes are also available to order which we will be doing shortly.

Great vibe, great decor, love the choice of cutlery and most of all, it's all about the food (and coffee)!

Best cake I've had in ages. I wanted to try everything but just stuck to having 3 different cakes. Yum!
