Lovely space inside and very friendly staff. Great lunch selection. Would definitely recommend as the first stop after a morning walk near Grasmere. Seemed popular though so would advise getting there early. Dog friendly.

Not my first time and each at least as good as the last. Great service and food much better than the service. Always worth the time even if it's out of your way.

Good tea and extensive tea menu. We tried the cheese scone and Victorian sponge.

We cannot tell about the cake as we have not tried the same cake in other stores, but the scone is very disappointing. It is neither crispy outside nor soft inside. Hope is it just mine scone on that particular day.

The most fantastic Lemon Meringue I've ever tasted. Friendly staff and the soup was lovely too, great tea room in the heart of the Lakes. And Farrers coffee is the best.
