The V-hull creates excellent sea-keeping and handling in waves. At the same time, the chines deflect water away as well as increase stability. The Ballistic's characteristic large, low Hypalon tubes are positioned to skim just above the water. This adds stability, both at speed and at rest. This makes boarding passengers and guests safe and easy. The tube fendering is also designed to deflect spray ensuring all on board keep dry. Robust buildFor over twenty years, our RIBS have been hand built by our dedicated team of experienced builders and fitters. Innovation, detailed engineering and build quality is the highest priority. The Ballistic's high-speed, load-carrying capability comes from our proprietary construction process. The larger boats are built using a unique three-part structure, comprising the GRP moulded hull, deck and internal ladder chassis. These are bonded together with Lloyds-approved high quality resins. This creates a strong hull, streamlined look and reduces the number of areas to bond. The smaller boats use a two-part deck and hull construction, with built in internal foam for additional hull strength. Importantly, there is no wooden panelling under the deck that can rot. This cutting-edge construction method sets Ballistic RIBS apart from other RIBs and makes it one of the strongest and most durable rigid inflatable boats on the water.
