Today sees the end of the big balloon flying season, (smaller balloons may fly on subject to weather). The 2018 season was unlike any for a few years, late starting due to the aftermath of ‘Beast from the East’, but then a wonderful few months, all looking set fair for August, not, well at least not for the balloon fiesta, and October finishing with remnants of various tropical storms etc. Thank you to all those that flew with us and looking forward to 2019 season and flying those who unfortunately did not get to take their flight.

We love to look at aerial photos, but wonder when this one of Bristol was taken? A lot of modern landmarks are 'missing'.

Hot Air Balloon Ground Crew Ballooning Network are looking for enthusiastic people to join our team of Ground Crew drivers to set up and retrieve hot air balloons during our flying season. Applicants need to be over 25yoa (for insurance purposes) and have a pre 1997 driving license for D1+E trailer qualification (or have an equivalent). Crewing involves early morning and late evening working, driving Land Rovers with big trailers (previous experience an advantage). We pay on a per retrieve basis.
