We had our wedding at Balmer Lawn on 22nd June and absolutely loved our special day, and the staff made that possible. We had 60 day guests and approx 120 in the evening. We also had around 20 rooms booked for family and friends.



Ruth the wedding coordinator has been superb throughout the whole planning process leading upto the day, and then on the day and after! The whole catering and bar team at Balmer did an excellent job, the food was lovely and the drinks were served efficiently throughout the whole day and evening. We had booked to have our wedding outside and it looked stunning.



Nothing was any bother for any of the staff as they were all very attentive, especially James who did a great job. Michael the general manager, and the management team were all very friendly and dealt with any issues (not that we had any!) swiftly.



The rooms were great, clean, very nice.



We would definitely recommend Balmer Lawn Hotel for your wedding, or any event! Five stars.

Steve and I got married at Balmer Lawn on Saturday and we were over the moon with the whole experience!! The staff couldn’t do enough for us and made the whole experience for Steve and I a dream! I would highly recommend Balmer Lawn and all the team for anyone looking for a beautiful forest venue for any event and especially a wedding! It was absolutely incredible and Steve and I couldn’t be happier with how everything went. The staff are absolutely amazing!!! Thank you very much and we look forward to coming back!!

My lovely Daughter and her amazing fiance were married in Brockenhurst Church and the reception was held here. Many of the family and friends stayed at the Balmer Lawn for one or two nights. We all had the most wonderful time and felt we were the only ones in the hotel. The staff were all lovely, very helpful and the service excellent. We were extremely well fed and my partner was delighted with the on site brewery!! Would have no hesitation in recommending this fine establishment. Thank you all.

My family and I visited today for the first time, for a spa day - exceptional service from start to finish. Absolutely stunning venue, amazing spa treatments, delicious food, and Edgar, our server, could not have been anymore more helpful and charming. Wonderful day for our birthday celebrations, we will definitely be back - thank you for a 5* + service!
