excellent hotel very friendly staff food very good, would recommend to anyone the four of us had a very good time will be back thanks to all staff.

We stayed here during the week for 3 nights after a disasterous start to our anniversary break in another hotel & we were made feel so welcome, The sea view room with a small double bed was cosy with enough room to move around with ease, the hotel its self was always clean & tidy, the staff were very informative & helpful, breakfast was always of decent standard, 10/10, We will certainly be returning soon.



These folk who have left bad comments want to spend 15 mins in The Royal Windsor Hotel 2 mins up the road. 1/10

We have loved our 3 night stay with breakfast even ordered evening 3 course meal was gorgeous, family room was also clean loads of room, bathroom a little 2 small but hasn't put us off, entertainment is fantastic, kid friendly, staff well mannered and always happy to help and go the extra mile, also has a lock up storage for luggage if you don't get picked uptill later after check out, defernatly coming back xxx

Visited in August with family, lovely hotel, clean and great atmosphere. Great evening entertainment, thanks Geoff! Fantastic hotel staff, Mr M and Tom! My daughter who is 9 hasn't stopped talking about the place since we left! Will be booking a week here in August next year and a weekend for fireworks late September! We can't wait! Highly recommend the Balmoral for families and couples. We also had our baby with us. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay! See you next year �

This is our third visit and can be counted on to be reliably good. We had a family room which was adequate. Breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. If you want a place to stay where your child can have a bit of a dance choose here!

Stayed with my son and mum and dad this week the sea view rooms were lovely to sit and watch the lights and mine and my sons room was clean and spacious... The breakfast and staff was lovely and catered for whatever we wanted.. The bar staff was welcoming and made us all feel welcome and my son who is 9 and bored easily loved the bingo and was entertained all night in the cabinet room xx would recommend and will be returning xx

Just been for 2 nights wiv my little girl and we had a ball staff so friendly and welcoming nothing was to much trouble food was nice beds so comfy very clean entertainment was spot on great with kids definitely goin back again we loved it thank you so much �

I just stayed here and I must say my room with a sea view was amazing loved the hospitality from the staff so friendly , and the breakfast delicious quite a bit ov Variety would definitely recommend the place to ppl X

Stayed here for 2 nites last nov.rooms a bit small but view was amazing and breakfast was lovely.

In need of updating, rooms not very clean ( lots of dust on top of wardrobe, behind tv, toilet etc) bedding was clean as were towels, staff very polite and helpfull. If your looking for a place to rest your head at a reasonable price with a good breakfast ( no mushrooms though!!!) then this is it.

Back today from 2 night break here. Bit disappointed tbh, shabby, needs refurb. Bedroom very small, bathroom tiny. Beds comfortable and nice sea view though! Breakfast excellent, staff friendly. Entertainment ok but bar very expensive-£9 for pint and glass of wine???? Not particularly good value at £200 for 2 nights. Ticked 3 stars by mistake should have been 2 really.

Upon arriving the customer service was not inviting at all was like walking into a morgue. We had a double room which looked like a prison cell had to ask to get sheets changed due to black hairs on the under sheet to which I was questioned about where the hairs where. Then to find out there no shower in our room but a bath that had a hole covered in putty. Then get told hotel doors get locked at night at a certain time and no entry allowed. Not allowed any food or drink in the hotel unless purchased from them. You have to pre order your evening meal from a tiny menu. (That is if they open the dining room at night )They don't do tea and coffee at night you only get enough tea and coffee for three cups so you have to leave premises to get tea/coffee. On a good note the breakfast was very nice and the entertainment was fantastic their in house entertainer Geoff was a fantastic and a credit to the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel for family's as the children are not allowed to be children. Defo would not stay here again.

I did not stay here but visited Blackpool for the Air Show yesterday. Blackpool was absolutely packed. I asked at the hotel if my 3 year old little boy could use the toilet only to be told no and they have rules. I was extremely disappointed and surely, exceptions can be made for young children. Luckily, the next hotel let him use the toilet. Please consider being more helpful in future.

Horrible place! My room was shabby and also I felt like I was in Alcatraz with the bars up covering the whole of my room window!
