What a great eve spent at the Bamboo Wine Bar last night. Had a family celebration meal there last night for 25 of us and I would just like to thank Paula and all the staff involved in making my party a night to remember, in particular I would like to thank Tom for his excellent customer service, nothing was too much trouble. Food, as always was excellent. THANK YOU ALL Marija & Bob x

This is my second review of Bamboo because I truly think it deserves it! Again great night of musical entertainment with Rhi & Ed and the food was splendid! I had the steak and ale pie and home cooked chips with peas. I had the standard size and for just over £7 well worth it. A delightful young man waited on us and was extremely friendly and polite, an asset to Bamboo. Thank you yet again for a lovely night :)

I returned here again today (28th June) after a lovely afternoon tea and cake on 15th June, me and my friend had a lovely lunch of pie, mash and mushy peas, the pot of tea was lovely as well, looking forward to returning here again very soon

I love this bar. Such a warm welcome, really helpful staff and great food and drink. Evening is a real hotspot, amazing live bands and singers to have you dancing the night away.

Had an amazing evening on Saturday listening to the very talented Dan Sutton - we had a lovely meal first and enjoyed a yummy pie with tasty crispy chips and gravy! Such a good atmosphere, we all loved it � Thank you to all the staff for being so friendly!

Great pies, great atmosphere good selection of beers and the window seat, although maybe you need an admirals pie, captain's is proper filling but slightly bigger would be a challenge:)

Had home made cottage pie not very well presented and very bland in flavour had to send it back.chips that were ordered were well over cooked again they were sent back and waiting along time to be served.apologies were made to us and we were given free drinks .
