Bambridge Accountants

I've used Bambridge for the last few years, and usually the service has been spot on and they do my US tax returns very fast. However, this year has been out of the ordinary - I sent them my tax documents back in late May, and they still have not finished filing my US taxes (it's now late September)? I keep being told that they'll follow up or that I should expect it by the end of the week. It's now days before the October deadline, so I'm not sure what's going on, but it shouldn't take 4 months to file my returns surely?

I would have liked to give 5 stars, but given this year's extreme delay, I'm afraid I'm going to have to downgrade my review.

I retired early last year from a profession that I worked nearly 20 years in. I came to the United Kingdom on a fixed income and some uncertainty in retirement. Alistair was not only responsive and prompt for our meeting, but very professional. Alistair’s knowledge of state and federal income tax put me at ease. He was expeditious in handling my taxes while I waited and filed them immediately. He provided me with a professional advce along with points for future tax years. Additionally, he answered other tax questions which was extremely helpful. I can’t tell you how pleased I was to work a person who is so competent and efficient at their profession. I would highly recommend him for any of your tax needs. Alistair is definitely “good people” and I’ll be recommending him to any friends and family who are in need of tax help.

I paid for consultations at so many firms only to discover they're clueless about the type of sophisticated tax planning I was looking for. Alistair only charged for the consultation for 15 minutes, realize they know the tax code like the back of their hand. Amazed. I'll be a client for life.

Alistair and his staff are rock stars in the tax world. Their preparation for the IRS was amazing. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Dealing with back US taxes is not cheap but there is a saying you get what you pay for. You do not want to take a chance with something like this do yourself a favor call his office to get the ball rolling. The peace of mind you will get when you put it behind you is priceless.
