Bampton Butchers

A fabulous little butchers shop in the heart of Bampton, Devon

Owned by us, John and Alison Wescott, a love of great food, cooking and farming, a passion for local produce, independent shops, and a desire to be my own boss was the perfect combination for us to take over 'The Butchers Shop ' in 2010.

From the start we wanted to champion fine British meat and cheese and support our local producers and our shop is now a treasure trove of fine foods. We stock over a fourty cheeses from unpasteurised traditionally made West Country favourites such as devon hunk and Quickes Cheddar to some fine artisan delights such as our local Devon Oke, Sharpham and Vulscombe cheeses.
