Banana Tree

Visited for the first time last night with my partner for her birthday meal. Very nice food, great service by lovely staff, they even brought out a surprise pudding and sang happy birthday.

We will definitely be returning in the near future.

This wasn't my first choice for dinner last night, but as it was my daughters 18th birthday, it was her prerogative, so off we went.



WOW!!! It was fabulous! The service. The food quality. The atmosphere. I couldn't fault any of it. A wide range of Indo-China dishes to choose from and handsome portions too. I suspect that I'll return. �

Quick service and delicious food! Very flavoursome

My family and I went on a Friday night on the spur of the moment so we weren't sure if we would get a table but we were seated within 2 minutes. The staff were attentive and friendly (high-fiving my boys) and the food was served very quickly. As usual, the standard of food was very good even on a busy night - in particular the Kajang chicken satay. Well worth a visit if you haven't been.

It was our first time there as a family meals and the menu looks very interesting,great food and good service. My two kids and my husband really enjoy their meals and we can't wait to back to try different dishes again!

Addicted to the food and excellent service. I have even started ordering takeaway during my lunch break. Great lunch menu & deals.

Great friendly service, delicious flavoursome food, i had chicken laksa soup then chicken with mango and lime with sticky rice, with the additional i beleive homemade hot chilli sauce, nice surroundings.

Excellent food again, massive combo portions that we can never finish. Cocktails at happy hour were welcome. Got there early and were taken to our seat early, the food arrived super quick. Only criticism is the fine line between efficient service and making customers feel rushed. Don't take plates away from the table when half are still eating.

A big fan of Banana Tree but disappointed to witness a waitress accidentaly spray a customers clothing with champagne when it was opened and not a word spoken to apologize as she walked off to get cloths to mop up, then the dirty floor cloth was used to wipe around the neck and top of the bottle that was served �

Wasn’t allowed a straw with my cocktail that had pips in spent most my time fighting them out my mouth joke , wings were banging but waited to long to be served and wasn’t even busy would go back tho as the food looks nice �

The food was lovely.

The service however was quite poor.

The food was lovely, couldn't fault it. Unfortunately the service needs a bit of an overhaul. My friends and I had to literally stand up and wave to the waiting staff to attract their attention twice, go up and find someone to bring us the bill, and then find someone again to come and allow us to pay. I would probably not go back because of this

Cocktails really could be made better. . 2 4 1 offer is not good.. the barman made a long island. Just poured out of an unravelled bottles. Doesn't a long island have 5 or 6 diffrent alcohol in in.

Popped in last minute after shopping and trying to get a table elsewhere first! The server was awful and didnt have a clue, kept messing our order up and the food was over priced for what it was. Had a main each, two cocktails for me and a beer for hubby came to £48. Two weeks prior had same sort of meal and drinks(2 cocktails, 1 beer) at turtle bay, that was nicer food and better cocktails and nicer service and was £30!!!

This was our second visit to banana tree and neither were memorable

It's a shame when the food is good but is the counterbalance to poor service. Confused, chaotic and careless are three 'Cs' I would use to describe Saturday evening's service which is a shame as the kitchen deserves far more from the 'front of house team.

Poor service. Main meals a joke you have to have the add ons . Seriously over priced for a very basic meal £4 for a half glass of home made juice mix???? More ice than anything else!!! Will not be going back!!!
