Welcome to Banbury Health Centre! This is our Official Facebook Page to let you know what is going on at the surgery, services available and health promotion campaigns!

The Banbury Health Centre opened on the 15th October 2009 as a new GP service and community healthcare facility sponsored by Oxfordshire NHS. It is staffed by high quality professional medical staff and operates in the same way as any other GP surgery, but with a few differences. For example:

•We are open from 8. 00am until 8. 00pm, every day, every week, and all year round.

•Patients can choose to register with us and use it just like a standard GP surgery. We offer the full range of general practice services.

•Both registered and unregistered patients can be seen – we have a number of appointments set aside each day for unregistered patients who are unable to go to their own GP practice.

Our team consists of six permanent GPs, five senior nurses and two healthcare assistants, as well as our Practice and Deputy Managers, administration and reception staff. At Banbury Health Centre, we are committed to delivering equitable access to healthcare services to all patients and will ensure that there is no discrimination against patients on grounds of age, sexuality, ethnicity, disability or any other factor (other than clinical need).

We aim to treat all our patients promptly, courteously and in complete confidence. We feel it is important you know who you are speaking to, so our staff wear name badges and identify themselves on the telephone. This website is full of information for patients who are registered at the Centre, those considering registering with us, and those who want to use the unregistered (or walk-in) service.
