About Bangladeshi Parents And Carers Association Bpca

BPCA started as a family led project in 1998 and went on to develop one of the largest Day Care centres in the voluntary sector in Tower Hamlets- Opal Support Hub , a second centre in Newham- Sapphire Support Hub as well as to launch a new home care programme- Jade Home Care. Our mission is to promote the wellbeing and independence of adults with multiple disabilities living in East London. We do this by providing culturally appropriate tailored support and care in our Day Centres or in their home, where our qualified and diverse staff create a nurturing, friendly and fun environment. Our recreational, educational and wellbeing programmes enable our users to develop social skills, giving them the tools to integrate into the community and exercise their independence and choice. Our team has expertise in a variety of medical conditions including Dementia, Mobility and Fragility disabilities, Autism, Down's Syndrome, Cerebral palsy, after stroke rehabilitation, visual and /or hearing impairments and our carefully curated activities are designed to support greater involvement and participation of those who are disabled as well as of their parents, carers or guardians.
