We were overwhelmed by the response to the opening of the field last week. It was lovely to see so many returning owners and to welcome a host of new visitors and their beautiful dogs. We are so pleased that the field is proving valuable to so many of you x

We are excited to be open again from tomorrow Monday 8th April and wish all our bookings lots of fun and games with your dogs.

Yay! Bookings are open today for 8th April. All registrations from last year are valid so just book as before. All first time visitors please select 'First Visit' option. See you all soon! xx

NEW for 2019
The field was opened last year simply to offer private owners to enjoy free time with their dogs and without exception we had the most lovely responsible owners and dogs using our field – thank you all so much .
We also received many requests from doggy day carers and dog walkers. They too have the same need to be able to run their charges off lead safely. We have therefore decided to extend the use of the field to responsible doggy day carers and dog walkers w...ith a maximum of 3 dogs only.
We look forward to welcoming you all from Monday 8th April.

We are very hopeful of soon getting the tractor into the field to prep the grass for Spring despite the recent heavy rain and intend to open as planned on Monday 8th April.
The bookings calendar will reopen on Monday 25th March and bookings may be made up to a maximum of 14 days in advance, as before.

Yay! Just one more week to go. Thank you so very very much everyone who has donated so generously to the Sussex Air Ambulance I am really delighted that all my pounding of trails and pavements is raising money for such a worthwhile cause.
To those of you who have mentioned that you would sponsor me but have yet to do so please may I give you a little nudge!
The training has been going well, my legs seem to be holding up just, the long range weather forecast looks hopeful so I'm really looking forward to the finish line! xx

Unfortunately there is already standing water in the field so to preserve the grass it is with huge regret we have made the decision to close the field from Friday 21st December. We plan to reopen on Monday 8th April 2019 and very much look forward to welcoming you all back next Spring. We have been overwhelmed by the response and delighted that it had been useful to so many of you.

The cattle are now back on Ditchling Common! It is lovely to see them grazing the land but it does unfortunately limit where dogs are able to be exercised off lead. Our private dog exercise field is only 5 minutes walk further on from the Common. Come and try us out for a really worry free run around session for your dog(s).
