Established in 2004 by well known carp angler Jon Finch, Bankside Tackle is an expanding, family run business that caters for the modern day Carp, Barbel and Predator angler. Over the years Jon has probably become best known for winning the 2008 British Carp Angling Championships, a feat he achieved using his own range of baits developed since Bankside opened for business fourteen years ago. Jon’s ability to source ‘niche’ products that are not available to anyone else has seen him build up a range of baits that are currently attracting a huge amount of interest in the carp world.

We expanded into our current retail premises in 2009 and both floors are packed with the latest equipment from all of the big names, and offers free parking within easy reach of the M5. Our staff are all experienced anglers and are more than willing to offer advice if needed, whether that be in the shop, over the phone or by e-mail.

Of course we would love to see you in the shop but if you can’t make it, we also run a thriving mail order business over the phone and Internet, and pride ourselves in the service we offer. Our user friendly online shop allows easy access to 1000's of tackle and bait items.
