Dreadful! My girlfriend and I joined then immediately cancelled so we could try it out for one month. I thought I might keep going as it had a pool. I use a disabled bus pass so I wasn’t able to get there easily by myself. I relied on my girlfriend driving me. Obviously this didn’t work when she wasn’t going. I cancelled my membership extension by email, before the end of the month as required by their rules. They didn’t get the email until the next working day, which was the following month. They then demanded payment even though I had cancelled in time!

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

I booked a spa day there. I would have preferred Orpington one but had to use this one as the Orpington was fully booked. At first it didn't look half bad. We was expecting someone to actually offer us the spa bag but we had to request it ourselves. We had a back, neck and shoulder massage as well as a facial which were both lovely and really enjoyed those but considering it was a spa day I did not feel pampered or relaxed throughout the rest of the day. Planned to stay there the whole day but only managed two hours after treatment. The Jacuzzi water was cold so very unpleasant , on top of everything the showers had ice cold water. Its just a really run down unpleasant spa. Would not recommend for spa days.

My partner booked and paid for an hour long treatment for me for my birthday they than ring us up on the morning of my treatment to say that It can't be done and they could only do a 25min slot at ten oclock this is not on! They should not have said they can do it if they can't not happy at all

More of a posh leisure centre with spa than luxurious spa day. On arrival we were kept waiting which made us late for treatment. Staff were not overly friendly more concerned about time. As we were now late we were told our treatments would be altered time wise. Staff didn't make you feel relaxed at all. Hardly any engagement. We had to ask about other facilities we could use. The relaxation room! Very nice dark and tranquil until the thunding of weights being dropped in gym in room right behind wall where head was.

In the actual spa room it wasn't great, fingers print marks on glass. The actual building looked like dates, office carpet in some places even. The sauna, hot tub and steam room were located in lesiure centre but downstairs away from spa area.

We had two mini treatments that should really be named micro as they were done in 20 minutes.

This was brought as a Virgin gift experience. Save your money. Not worth it at this leisure centre at all.

Really disappointed 12 of us took a day off a really busy ward which was a feat in itself,for spa day experience!!! Got cancelled 30 minutes before we got here .

A group of 13 nurses arrange for a day spa. It takes a lot of organisation for us all to get the day off. Half way to the destination we are called to say it's been cancelled. Needless to say we are not impressed. We are not offered a refund but a voucher which we will not take. We are disgusted with the treatment we reviewed and none of it was spa related we did not even get a complimentary sustenance. We will never be coming again and do not recommend it to anyone. It does not even deserve one star. Stacey Griffin the manager did not even get her backside down here to sort things out.

Staff are terrible.
So unhelpful that we were unable to register because of a computer problem (no alternative way to register for a day pass suggested other than "most people do it at home on your phone")
All requests for assistance were met with looks of disdain.

Recommend hiring staff with better poker faces and possibly an easier registering system.

I booked there for facial hair removal and full legs. Received mail with some information and some steps I had to follow so my appointment runs smooth. So I did and we come to the day. All seemed so professional and that was the major reason I ve chosen a Spa. I walked in, the environment looked nice and so I followed the instructions a gentleman gave me to find the reception and meet my "therapist" .I was waiting in relaxation room which was funny and calming. Then the young beautician appeared and so I followed her to the "treatment" room. We started with legs and I would like to stay in this point. Firstly double dipping ? No ! This was multi dipping. I said to my self wait a bit more to see how it goes , don't judge too early. When she applied the stripes or how they're called and pulled them off she didn't even hold my skin at all. Everything was happening like there was an extreme rush to get done . Okay done with legs. Many hair left on my legs I thought was only fine hair in the beginning but coming home I realised is so much more I need to shave sadly. Yea why having them waxed if the result is like this ? Let's proceed to the face . When I booked I got ensured that they will use hard wax on my face because is more appropriate for sensitive areas. But hey !!while I was lying on the treatment bed she was cutting stripes small size . Then I asked why she does that (because I've arranged to have my face waxed with hard wax ) to come to the hilarious answer " the hard wax is not prepared" then I insisted so she switched it on . She applied first layer of wax the gues double dipping ! I stood up asked her politely to remove my wax so I would leave immediately. She got shocked of my "behaviour " . Then she convinced me that the wax was only in use for me ( yea a jar of 300g for chin sideburns and lip) anyway I don't wanna pull things to the edge so I stayed and had it done and paid and left. I have to mention that I had my eye brows booked for waxing too but I cancelled them since I prefer doing them myself instead of having em all pulled out . I don't know what to say for this experience .. is it me being so picky ? When it comes to hygiene and professionalism and when I pay lot I at least demand the basics ... double dipping is a bad practise that puts you in risk of cross contamination. Besides that the " therapist" should show the necessary professional skill instead of being in hurry. 2 stars for nice building and my good will ...
