Horrible experience! Never again! I hoped for a relaxing day yesterday with my friend but unfortunately it ended up as a disaster. We had a relaxing spa day and a lovely lunch in the Cafe. My friend and I decided that we would like to join the gym, so we asked the lady on the reception (long black hair-don't remember the name) for some information. That was the point, when everything went down. I don't know if she had a bad day, but she treated us was unbelievably rude and disrespectful. Absolutely not helpful at all. Instead of helping us she just started having an unnecessary attitude. If this wasn't enough a huge fight around the swimming pool and police investigation convinced us not to join this club.

Spa very disappointing.

The changing room smelt of urine, showers had mouldy down the doors and someone had been smoking in the toilets.
We're not told or shown where the relax stone beds were by any spa person at the beginning of the day so spent 4hours bored in the pool before I had a massage.
Did not like having to walk out threw the barrier in the entrance in swimwear and a towel so that cars in the car park could see me half naked.
It felt overrated as a spa as I found it to be more of a gym, and trying to sell it as a spa by charging you £21for a bag with a robe and flip flops that didn't even fit!
Would not return and would not recommend as a spa, would rather go back to a Champneys for a relaxing spa day.

Staff were very welcoming and helpful but was very disappointed with the facilities. The pool area had no space for relaxing, once you had finished swimming you just had to get changed. You also needed to provide your own towel which I have never known at a spa. Consequently I had to buy one of the packs. The towel was extremely old as was the robe. This spa does need modernising urgently would not recommend.

Had a spa day for two. Staff were really helpful. Kim on the front desk couldn’t have been more helpful and she was really lovely. She informed us of all the facilities. We loved the stone beds and the massage’s were so relaxing and not short like some other reviews stated. The cafe was a bit chilly but paninis were yummy and so was the coffee. e had full use of the spa including the steam room sauna, pool and jacuzzi, all of them were clean and the lighting was beautiful. We would love to go back again. We enjoyed our day so much we left the girls a tip. I got the impression this doesn’t happen often. Shame as the girls, one of them was called Amy work really hard and was really professional. Would recommend this spa and if your thinking about booking up, do it. It was fabulous

I took my girlfriend for a spa day... Oh my goodness what a great decision (for me as much as her) I didn't realise I could be so chilled from the therapies. Lovely staff with magic hands and a good attitude. Really enjoyed my day!

Relaxing, fun and easy going. Would go again 10/10.

Always something wrong with the pumps, if is not the jacuzzi, will be the hot tub. Family showers are stinking!!!! Run away people, go to Virgin, is much better

Good facilities though overpriced. Poor maintenance if anything breaks or is damaged it will be like that for a long time. The changing rooms and toilets often a mess. They have a high turnover of staff who dont seem to care.

Great massage. But the layout is completely wrong to be spa. Should concentrate on being a gym. Cafe was awful

Honestly not great... My treatment was clearly rushed, she ignored the problem areas i explained- and didn't ask once if the pressure was ok. I can forgive the lack of service outside of my treatment but I would at the very least expect these basic expectations to be met. I was told to go to the relaxation room, which i didn't even see since i I was ushered back out to a busy reception to be "shown around". The facilities were nice, but I wasn't really given the time to experience them. I was made to feel like i was on a conveyor belt and definitely do not feel relaxed. Would not recommend.
