I first used banner jones to purchase a property back in 2014. I couldn't fault them the whole thing went very smoothly and Banner Jones were quick to react and talked me through everything with regards to the searches before everything went through. I never had to chase them once and I was pleased with the service and that's why I chose them when I moved again earlier in the year. This time they were the complete opposite, they were not sending my buyers solicitors the right information, we were on the phone to them constantly chasing day in and day out, being made false promises, we were not and still have not be presented with the results from the searches and the whole process was close to falling through as a result. On this occasion they were also given months in advance to get things organised but still it was completed by the skin of the teeth and from a lot of pressure and persistence from our end. It was a really stressful process and I might as well have saved my money and did it all myself

We used Banner Jones for conveyancing. We will never use this firm again and have warned our friends and family to avoid. We would have been better doing it all ourselves as our solicitor didn't seem to know what he was doing and the majority of the paperwork we were sent was incorrect. Not what you want when you are trusting (and paying!) somebody to deal with your house sale/purchase. Estate agents were telling me they could never get in touch with our solicitor as they never answered the phone. We had the same problem. Dont expect to get any updates on your conveyancing and when you do be prepared to be spoken to rudely and lied to. When Banner Jones then asked if we wanted to use them for a Will I told them of the problems we encounted. The director emailed and said he would look into our complaint. Months later we had not heard back so I emailed asking if he had looked into it. He said he would and guess what...never heard back. Take note of the other reviews on here. Do not trust this firm with such important legal matters and be treated so badly. We chose this firm and paid them and they treated the whole process as an inconvenience to them.

Just *****you off when you hear adverts on the radio like example Banner Jones solicitors or a bag of w*** they say they are there every step of the way with you are they crap they are the worst company in the world please if you hear the advert on Mansfield radio don't ring them because 99% of them are crap the 1% left just says it all x I've rang for 5 weeks now and they don't give a poo about u and what u are going through, cos don't they realise every time I ring up it's just bringing back everything with my mum which is not helping they are happy to take ur money to do a crap job and Plus u have to do most of the work for them to get anywhere so they should be paying me cos it's us who's done all the chasing about x rant over p.s don't use them sorry about my language but they have really upset me and I'm complaints about them and sent them an email its disgusting ÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅ ĹÔŅĹÔŅĹ

I needed a conveyancers signature on two ID1 forms and was told the cost would be £150 + vat for each form - a total of around £360 for two signatures !

Needless to say I did not use Banner Jones but made an appointment with the Land Registry office in Nottingham and got it done for free !

Got an email asking to leave feedback. This is the first time they got back to me since I first tried to get in touch 8 months ago.

When Banner Jones then asked if we wanted to use them for a Will I told them of the problems we encounted. The director emailed and said he would look into our complaint. Months later we had not heard back so I emailed asking if he had looked into it. He said he would and guess what...never heard back. Take note of the other reviews on here. Do not trust this firm with such important legal matters and be treated so badly. We chose this firm and paid them and they treated the whole process as an inconvenience to them.

Just *****you off when you hear adverts on the radio like example Banner Jones solicitors or a bag of w*** they say they are there every step of the way with you are they crap they are the worst company in the world please if you hear the advert on Mansfield radio don't ring them because 99% of them are crap the 1% left just says it all x I've rang for 5 weeks now and they don't give a poo about u and what u are going through, cos don't they realise every time I ring up it's just bringing back everything with my mum which is not helping they are happy to take ur money to do a crap job and Plus u have to do most of the work for them to get anywhere so they should be paying me cos it's us who's done all the chasing about x rant over p.s don't use them sorry about my language but they have really upset me and I'm complaints about them and sent them an email its disgusting ÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅ ĹÔŅĹÔŅĹ

I wish I'd seen these posts before accepting this company to represent me when trying to buy a flat. Dire service is all I can say. Go elsewhere is my advice

I needed a conveyancers signature on two ID1 forms and was told the cost would be £150 + vat for each form - a total of around £360 for two signatures !

Needless to say I did not use Banner Jones but made an appointment with the Land Registry office in Nottingham and got it done for free !
