The Aspen Golf Ski & Spa Apartment Resort complex is located in the beautiful and quiet area of Razlog Valley, in Bankso, Bulgaria. The resort is less than 10 minutes by car or shuttle bus from the well known Bansko ski slope lifts.
Whilst the internationally recognized outstanding 18-hole „Pirin Golf” course designed by the winning 2006 Ryder Cup Captain - Ian Woosnam is just 300m away.
The guests of the Aspen Resort benefit of the magnificent view to the snowy hills of the Pirin, Rila and Rhodopes mountains and luxury Spa and Wellness centre.
There are both indoor heated pool as well as outdoor pool (operational during the summer time). Modern and newly furnished restaurant and lobby bar are provided, along with a kids club and playground in the beautiful garden, barbecue, billiards and well equipped fitness are also at disposal of the guests.
Free Wi-Fi in the public areas, free private open-air parking is available on site.

... . Ryanair, Europe’s favourite airline, announced it will launch a new daily service from London Stansted to Sofia, beginning in May 2016, which will go on sale from September. Sofia will be Ryanair’s second Bulgarian airport, following Plovdiv (which has a 4 times weekly service to London Stansted), and is another key primary airport, as Ryanair continues to expand Europe’s largest route network.
Ryanair celebrated its new London Stansted to Sofia service by releasing 100,000 seats for sale across its European network, at prices from £19.99 for travel in September and October. These low fare seats are available for booking until midnight Monday (10 Aug).
Ryanair’s Robin Kiely said:

Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, announced a new route from Birmingham to Sofia on January 11, 2016. The route will commence on 28 March and will be operated with two weekly flights on Mondays and Fridays. The new service is Wizz Air’s third low-fare route between Sofia and the U.K. along with London Luton and Bristol.

With this new route there are now regular direct flights to Bulgaria from London, Manchester, Bristol and Birmingham making the country easily accessible from the UK with flight time of just 3 hours.

This winter, the ski season in Bansko officially opens on December 12, with some of the champions of the sport scheduled to be at the event. Two time Olympic champion Markus Wasmeier will be arriving for the opening.
Tomba
Wasmeier is a five time competitor in various World Championships. In 1985 he won the gold medal in the Giant Slalom, while ranking 3rd at the Championship in 1987.
