About Bantock House Museum

Restored to its stunning Edwardian glory, Bantock House is a hidden treasure set within 43 acres of parkland and surrounded by delightful formal gardens.

Bantock House Museum Description

The house and park are FREE to visit.

Bantock House is arranged over two floors. The ground floor is set in the Edwardian period with Arts and Crafts inspired décor. The first floor features a number of interactive exhibitions exploring local history topics.

Visitors are invited to explore the period setting of the Bantock family’s home and discover stories about the lives of the people who lived there.

Upstairs in the Billiard Room visitors can learn about the lives of prominent Victorian gentlemen who helped to shape Wolverhampton. The first floor also has stunning new room settings which include displays of exquisite locally made japanned ware, enamels and steel jewellery.

With a programme of changing exhibitions In the community gallery and creative hands-on activities throughout the museum, there is always something new and exciting for visitors to enjoy.

Bantock Park covers 43 acres and is a great place for a family outing. There is a cafe, children’s play area, putting green, football pitches and plenty of space to walk and play games.
