Baps Shri Swaminarayan Mandir

It's a spirituality touching extremely well detailed temple full of statues of Hinduism. I felt myself special just because they let me into the building. No photo shooting inside what makes it more spiritual.

One of the most beautiful places in London. I’ve been there many times and it’s never enough. Recommend for the Indian New Year and. Diwali Festival :)

Beautiful marble temple. Very elegant design. Amazing architecture. Visit both during the day time and in the evening for the lighting effects outside. Must visit if you are in the UK.

First off, my wife was told she could not take her bag inside the temple, then I was told I could not take my camera inside. NOW what can I say but WOW!!! I loved the time we spent there and I will be coming back. We even did a short service as the staff member said we were more than welcome to attend it and it was really nice to see - (only downside was we could not put any money on the plate as my wife purse was in her bag-remember not allowed to bring in).
We did do the exhibition afterwards as they could change paper money - Very, Very enlightening and well worth the money too.
I did not know anything about the Hindu faith and afterwards I found it interesting and educational.
The Shop was a little disappointing as I would have love to have bought a booklet or something about the temple but only ended up with 4 postcards.
Oh and on the thing about my wife's handbag all the elderly Hindu ladies leaving the temple came out with their handbags so why was my wife stopped????
Yes there was some negatives but the POSITIVES more than quashed them and I was very enlightened by the whole experience and will be back for sure

Interesting place. Beautiful and very detailed carved 5 tonnes of marble. Amazing job.
