Staff lovely and friendly, food was very good and service was great. Had starters, mixed grill and a pudding all very good will definitely eat here again.

My partner & I visited Bar + Block yesterday. The food was amazing & it was all in all a lovely evening.

Lovely place Sunday roast i recommend really nice. I'm looking forward to trying a steak in the future though.

I have told many people about this place. Me and my girlfriend had the Sunday roast for two with bottomless prosecco for an hour and half. You get a Polaroid photo too to keep. Food is tasty, the price is right and the decor is quality.

Fantastic staff and delicious food. this was a lovely venue to enjoy a quiet birthday dinner. They were great with my four year old and nothing was a problem for them.

Fantastic food.... the popcorn is to die for... definitely coming again the next time we’re in London

Couldn’t fault it. Seated straight away. Waiters were great. Food was fantastic.

Ate here last night and took advantage of a money off voucher. This was our 2nd time visiting this restaurant in the last 7 months. It was delicious both times! We had olives and breads to share, both were good. This time I treated myself to a fillet steak, medium rare with salad, chimichurri sauce and mac and cheese bites. Cooked to perfection and I cleared my plate. My husband took a 10oz rump steak, medium with chips and bernaise sauce, again he cleared his plate. Washed it down with 2 large glasses of house wine and the bill only came to £46 - this was amazing value for London! Lovely staff, who are always happy to help. When we are back in London, we will definitely visit again for another steak.

Ate here as part of the Premier Inn meal deal, expecting a decent meal as I am used to with Premier Inn Euston where I usually stay. To say PI Kings Cross has got my custom from now on is an understatement! This was the best meal I’ve had in one of their linked restaurants - the steak was divine as was all the rest of the meal! Already booked again.

We had a great dinner here last night. Never been to this chain before, but we’d come again! Great steak, very reasonably priced pint of ale, fab sweet potato chips with feta and chorizo. Nice to be given the popcorn and water as we were seated. Service was speedy and attentive, not intrusive! Our waiter was Sabin. Recommend the Gin Smash to drink! Thanks for a great dinner! �

I booked online for 20:30 but called them requesting table for 1 earlier than that. No problem, I can be there anytime. Little table by the wall, waitress bring the me water and popcorn � very nice and polite. Ordered day specialty (8oz Marinated Ribeye � ) and beer (Brooklyn Lager �). Short wait even restaurant was quite busy, and I received my food. Portion not too big, but enough to fill me up. Very tasty �! I recommend visiting Bar + Block �����

Service lacking. Sat in a corner on a table next to a a wall and a service area, despite booking 2 months in advance. When asked to be moved (on a busy night) got a frosty reply from the duty manager. Finally got moved after deciding not to order unless we got a better table. Customer service costs nothing but means a lot towards your experience of eating out. Won’t rush to return due to this, the starters were average but the steak was amazing.

So, i am staying in Kings Cross for a few weeks and came across this place. The menu reads so we have been three times.. Look at our experience! 1 - AMAZING - nothign sorte of FABULOUS. Athmosphere amazing, delicious, friendly. said we would go back! 2 - sunday breakfast after a run. #Disappointing - staff just about spoke english, told us about offers that was online only and food - was a let down. We had the made to order breakfast rather than the all you can eat. It was the same thing. Hungry post a 1/2 marathon, we thought we chosen wrong. We did tell the guy serving us.. He agreed with what we were saying.. 3 - we decided to go today for a sunday roast. We were told it was only for 2 people - so we had to have burger. One veggie burger and a meat one... Not asked how we want the meat was told it comes well done! Ok - we wil go with this. We ordored some sweet potato frield with spanish sausage and feta cheese (sounds amaizing) but was then told we could have it - for 99p more with the order rather than the french fries. Fast forward the food being delivered to our table. The chips came without the feta etc, we had to get it changed but the manager guy said we were misinformed, it's an ugrade to sweet potato fries only. But he did it for us.. Then we tried the burger - the bun was dry! I called him over and said, "i'm sorry this if dry'. he accused me of swearing! And with his bad english - decided I was in the wrong! We walked out will never go back!
