This World AIDS Day at Bar Broadway we’re having a fantastic night of karaoke to raise funds for Brighton’s Terrence Higgins Trust. Your wonderful hosts for the evening are Chris Hibbert who can sing, and Chris Hannam who can’t, but he’s quite funny 😜 It going to be a fun evening with lots of surprises in store and hopefully we’ll raise a few £££££ for a really good cause. The fun starts at 8.30pm, come and sing, dance and be merry 🎤 🎶 🍾🕺🏾🎉💃🌈 🎭

This is my favourite bar when I'm visiting Brighton! The staff are really lovely and so much fun! Musical theatre is such an amazing way to bring people together and the different regular nights, games and special events make this bar really stand out from the crowd. Wish I was in Brighton more often! Great job guys, keep up the great work!

User

This bar is a little hidden gem in Brighton. It always reminds me of walking into a mini theatre..... and with the added extra of songs from the musicals, it’s always a great night at Bar Broadway.

User

The friendliest bar staff Jon, Ed and Zuzu made the evening with friendly banter, something different every night from singers, quizzes and sing a longs, see no reason to go anywhere else.

And more impressive a great selection of drinks

User

Such a great bar would really recommend I really enjoyed it here. Great atmosphere, really friendly staff from the security to the bar really lovely people, great drinks and a great laugh xxxx

User

Really nice place & good atmosphere. Nice mix of people. Service was fast even though they were busy. Jon was very friendly and welcoming. Thanks for a great evening.

User

Question. Did I have a fabulous time at Bar Broadway?

Answer : Literally one of the best nights I have had in Brighton.

“Why,” you ask? The minute I walked in the joint ...... (pun intended)

You’re incredibly handsome , enthusiastic and caring Bar man called Jon Llewelyn .

Thanks for making my friends and I entertained and welcomed throughout the night.

Definitely will be coming back again soon.

User

I’m not a natural for the scene, but every time I have been into Bar Broadway I have had excellent service from the staff. They really try to make me feel at home.

As for the show tunes, I think I must have been indoctrinated as a child as it’s amazing how many I instinctively know.

User

I like to come to Bar Broadway to see Tabitha sing, sometimes do Cameron’s quiz and the other day in drag just to see Sally and the bubbly bartender Jon’s welcome smile. The team are really lovely there and it’s always an enjoyable time for all!

User

I Love this bar, its the sort of place you can go in on your own, but not feel alone. The owners, the bar staff and the whole ambience of the place is fun and welcoming, with great music and various acts on, there's something to make everyones night a memorable one.

User

Had an amazing night here the other day! Great atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks. Really friendly staff especially a chap called Jon who really helped to make it a fabulous evening. Definitely worth a visit!

User

Came here for the first time on Wednesday as was out for my birthday. We had fab time from the staff to the brilliant atmosphere will definitely be returning!

User

Bar broadway In my opinion is the hub of Brighton’s gay nightlife. Warm, welcoming and never fails to garuntee a fun night. The staff are super professional yet approachable. I ❤️ Bar broadway x

User

Bar Broadway is an amazing place, with a brilliant vibe, made all the better with excellent friendly staff (special nod to Jon, who knows my drink and starts making it before I order!) . Piano Bar on Tuesdays is a particular favourite. Keep up the good work.

User

Bar Broadway is a home from home musical theatre extravaganza! The staff are some of the loveliest people ever, and the entertainment is second to none with all your favourite musical hits to trot! If this isn’t on your destination of choices in Brighton, then you need to add it now

User

Always a good night out ! Really great atmosphere and friendly staff. A great place to take visitors as they always love it too :

User

I would of gave a 5*, i visited tonight and was quite exited to find a theatre related bar, i was greeted by a lovely guy called sam who i think was new and a little unexperienced but 100% tried his best and was so polite, however i do feel he was a little bullied by other staff on and off duty very noticeable, ive seen other comments on here about the bar and can understand how certain staff can come across as being rude yet others try harder, my biggest gripe had to be who i believe to be in charge eating behind the bar to which is very rude in front of guests! Overall a great bar just needs a bit of tweeking.

User

Don't go here if you want to laugh and have fun as there is a grumpy bloke upstairs who comes down and tells you to shut up! Likes taking our money (and we spent a lot in there - crowd of 20), when his entertainment is on, but not after! Had one great night here, then the 2nd night (last night) went in, it was dead in there, bought drinks, having great fun and he came down again and told us to be quiet, and he would only serve civilised people and then called security to chuck us out. We spoke to those guys who agreed with us! Shame.

User

Summer night, SuRie performing and you know that the place will be filled with supporters! Somehow only one air conditioning is on and everyone struggle to cope with the heath, even SuRie mentioned that she can't breath!! Think twice before organizing gig like that as it's really not fun!! Just to be clear we asked stuff twice to do something about the other air con that was off and there was no reaction... Shame :(

User

Whenever I visit friends in Brighton we always pop into this bar.

However Saturday I was left very bemused.

We arrived about 8.30pm, saw another friend, whereby there was singing and a little dancing along to the song playing, when a female bar person, promptly came over and told us all to be quiet.

As it’s a musical bar, may be you can understand my confusion!!

Disappointed.
