What a gem this place is! A fantastic quirky place with great staff, fabulous drinks and a wonderful atmosphere. I was on my Hen Party and had my mother, mother of the groom and my mum's friend with us (they are not used to a wild night out) but I couldn't have asked for better as all the brilliant staff made us feel totally safe and really looked after us. We enjoyed ourselves so much that after the karaoke bar we came back and danced the evening away until 3am. We had so much fun that we talked about it all the way home. Thank you for such a great time, special thanks to Andy who really went the extra mile - superstar! We will definitely be coming back here next time we're in London. T H A N K Y O U x

We went here early Sunday evening, good atmosphere and it was happy hour!!!

User

Such a great place and I’d like to thank Karolina who helped organising our birthday party! She’s been very helpful with all our questions and got us a nice area upstairs! Drinks are very reasonable priced, specially in happy hour! Had such a good night and we will definitely be back!

User

Such a good night out!! Staff are friendly, drinks are good prices and music was great! Thank you to Laura who looked after us that night as well! Will be booking again

User

Had a fantastic night here after work - it was busy but got served surprisingly quick. Plus you can’t beat a decent Happy Hour with 50% off drinks

User

Went 4-6 pm so not busy although a Saturday the barmaid couldn't understand me god help you if you order when noisy and busy ! Beginning to get busy on leaving mind you its not a big place so not hard ! Noticed there are a few comments about bouncers didn't notice him till about 5 pm checking I D with a lot of those in the bar who seemed to look age appropriate. That said the bar staff look the youngest in there !!! We had cocktails happy HR the pinacolada had a dribble of cream !! The long island tea a dribble of coke so not that great . Wouldn't rush to go back

Your bouncers seem to think they are MI5 and anyone who’s deemed drunk is a massive threat to Queen and Country. They need to calm down and try not to be total buzz kills. I could understand if I was throwing up, rolling around on the floor or starting fights, but no I merely removed my shoes because they were hurting and was apparently ‘swaying’. God forbid the merriment of swaying. I then agreed to purchase flip flops from your attendant in the ladies and yet was still targeted by security all night who made me stand outside on four separate occasions and affectionately kept referring to me as ‘the big girl’. Even though my only crime was laughing, dancing (like a wally, granted) and ‘swaying’ in my overpriced flip flops, I can only assume your door staff thought that the ‘big girl’ was going to turn into the Incredible Hulk and start bouncing patrons off of the walls.

Maybe have a rethink about taking stag/hen bookings if your staff hate looking at drunk big girls.

Went for a casual afternoon drink with some friends, we were ID-ed the moment we walked in which was fine, he was very nice about it but within moments of sitting down and starting to look at the menu, a female member of staff very rudely demanded to show her our IDs again despite us telling her that we had just shown them to her colleague. This would have been fine if she hadn’t included very rude hand gestures while asking for them. First and last time to come and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The worst place in the world as a way of treating clients, if you want to be humiliated in public by the management and the staff just go to bar soho they are unprofessional enough to do that.

At list once a week I use to go being near my work place and easy to meet with my friends for a warmup and I never felt good or welcomed but last night was just horrible. It seems someone stole the purse of a lady from the opposite side of the bar from where we were standing and they have accused one of my friend of evidence of cctv which were visibly erroneous.I totally understand that as a manager in such a situation you have to solve the problem and of course you can make mistakes but it was a pleasure for them to pour out their frustration on us screaming without letting us to say anything, they threatened to call the police(we wanted because all we want was to get out of this situation)but of course they never did it.

After realizing that we were not the actual ones(they said that my friend did it with his left hand but for health problems he can use his left hand at all ) they took us out even if we only bought our drinks without apologizing even worse at the door they were yelling “You did it guy,we know you did it” and all this in public.

Was a embarrassing situations but funny too when you and them know you did nothing wrong but people still wanna be histéricals they probably hate them jobs and that’s why they hate they own customers too.

Maybe one day you guys will experience situation like that on your own skin so you can learn how to handle situation like this in the future.

Good luck!

The supervisor (black guy, not tryin to be racist it was the only working at that time) at the entrance was letting everyone come in but me and two friends and being arrogant as well. Sad thing had to go to another place, never coming back for sure! Hope you enjoy the bar, they got decadency right on description.

User

The staff are not even washing the glasses! This is ridiculous and totally unsanitary! we couldn’t believe it. They just rinse them with water (according to the manage water that comes out of the sink with soap in it? LOL) and serve them again. what a joke, this place should get checked as what they do is not even legal.

User

So disappointed!! I was coming all the time here for drinks from the east London and tonight one of my friend was stopped in front of the stairs cause they was thinking she was drunk! C'mon, she was feeling well, it's Saturday night, she was not alone and they was sending her out. I will not come anymore! You was feeling my friend very shiny.

User

Rudest staff I’ve ever encountered. Despite all of us approaching our 30s we were IDd twice by two different bouncers within the space of 5 minutes for just walking into the bar. Wouldn’t have minded if they were polite about it, however the woman who came over to our table (whilst we were still browsing the menu) was extremely rude gesturing at us to hurry up despite us telling her we’d been IDd a few minutes prior in the middle of the bar. We left without ordering. Shall not be returning.

User

Rude door staff and bouncers.

Wouldn’t let me and my friend in because in some stupid way he thought I came alone even tho my friend was right next to me. Also no badges on display. Unprofessional and judgmental knobheads who’s a disgrace to the security community.

User

Racist door staff, racist management. Discrimination at it's finest, well done for being the worst establishment with continous reviews of your security's bad attitude and lack of awareness or service from your so called manager. To be constantly targeted and Accused of being drunk, failing to have any basis on this and then to change your story to threatening behaviour is not only unprofessional but also immoral. Where does the racism stem from? who is giving the instruction to constantly use the excuse of intoxication to filter through the minorities and choose who comes in and who stays out? These are questions as a company somebody needs to be asking. As I said to your manager who did not want to rectify any issue or accusation made I will make sure a formal complaint is made because you obviously are unable to facilitate any unbiased investigation.

My first time writing a review, I was that disgusted with the service . First and last time in this place. Four barmaids behind the bar at one point and it was not busy and took at least 10 mins to be served (my friends got served only by barmaid 1) then i waited longer.. id completley get it if it was busy.. it was not. Then i got asked by the RUDEST barmaid what I wanted and as I went to give my order she made a hand gesture for me to move over to her.. yet nobody was in front of her and it was empty. I gave my order and it was a cocktail so I knew it could take a few minutes, she then asked me a question and I cannot remember what it was but I went to ask what she said she put her hand up to my face to gesture me to stop talking. I work with the general public every single day as a retail manager and I have never EVER come across such ignorance and rudeness. Your staff needs some serious customer service training. Thank you for making my first time to Soho a not so pleasant one. To all who read this I would NOT drink here.

User

I've been here a few times now, but never again. I came with two friends who travelled very far, and were accosted immediately upon entering. We're all approaching our 30s but apparently we look 17 and were IDd. We sat down contemplating what to order, when one awfully rude bar staff came over, asked for ID, again, and then ushered us, with the palm of her hand, to quickly produce such ID. Of course we have it, but felt so unwelcome we left without ordering. I doubt they even gave a damn.

Management: look upon your one star reviews and comments on security and staff, and reconsider.

User

Homophobic staff, told my friend and her girlfriend to stop kissing while in full view of a straight couple straddled and making out! Totally disgusting behaviour and after reading all the reviews on here about staff with a bad attitude management is obviously not bothered about how their staff treat their guests that are spending a lot of money. Are the management that naive (or just stupid) that being homophobic is actually grounds for prosecution? Boycott this establishment.

User

For me it was the worst experience in the world, teams Rudely, don't know how to be polite. I paid tonight 5 pounds by the ticket for the receptionist blond girl and the security guy saw me with almost empty bottle of wine, then I drunk to the end, so he had said me that I was contempt him. I gave my apologize even because I'm learning English yet, it was a huge misunderstood and he didn't care. The worse part: he Banned my entrance there and not refunded me my 5 pounds. Totally impatient and disrespectful for customers. Never more!!!
