Bar Solo

By far the best bar in carlisle ..its opposite the station and even letvyou leave your luggage for 3 pounds for the day ..ideal if ya stopping of on way travelling but want few hours inbetween ..its small cosy and the staff are amazing ..this is my fifth time visiting ..the staff now recognise my suitcase running to the door hahha ..now even greeted to a chardonnay before ive managed to open the door ..damn door is heavy mind ..hahha ..good for muscles ..absolutely love it here ..they serve tapas but i never tried it yet ..always looks lush xx thankyou to lovely well mannered staff that obviously care about customers xx

Really nice! Very friendly staff and they look after your bag for £3 which is great when you have lots of time to kill ahead of a train. Cool decor - old tiles. Small wine selection by glass which is why it's a four. But would go back!

Great spot, next to the train station, has a baggage storage service that is great for train travelers, breakfast was great, and they serve Guinness.

Its a bar with a great atmosphere, amazing live music and very polite and welcoming staff amazing for a few drinks to wind don't and chill out.

Love the victoriana tile decor,and the friendly service.
