Helena Barbarian Corso (Harlow) The Cane Corso should be an athletic breed able to perform tasks around the farm/home with stamina and endurance, it saddens me to see more and more dogs who are unable to work, who are not capable to sustain exercise or jump high and have no speed/reach in their movement. Very knowledgeable and committed to the breed. Their dogs are all healthy, happy, well balanced, beautiful Corso. The breeding programs are carefully considered to produce true Corso type by temperament and breed standard. Excellent advice and support before and continued advice and support throughout. My first Barbarian Corso is now 3 years old and I still have regular contact with them. Highly recommend

This is THE place you should be looking if you are considering sharing your home with a Corso. (By all means look elsewhere - but you won't find a kennel as well run, or dogs that are cared for better than at Barbarian). Carmen & Claude know the breed and love their dogs. Before I was lucky enough to get the chance to own my dog (Fortunato Nero Barbarian Corso - or 'Oskar'), I visited on a half dozen occasions. The dogs are well looked after, and all healthy, with a super temperament. Well socialised, the pups are stimulated and housed with mum from birth. The owners all share information and advice. When you take a dog from here (or should I say if you are lucky enough to be selected as an owner) you can be sure that you are picking from the cream of the crop. You aren't just a customer, you are joining a 'family' of owners.

My partner and I had been looking at getting a cane corso for some time. We contacted several breeders but barbarian corso kennel seemed the most open & approachable. With the passing away of our very much loved American bulldog it was time to look at getting a new dog in our lives, Carmen and claud were straight talking and honest with us, We visited their beautiful pack several times and the dedication they have to their animals is increadable. Each and every one we met was a well balanced and a prime example of the breed. We are now lucky enough to have a beautiful 6 month old tank from litter F. We have had continued contact and support from the breeders who are more than happy to answer any queries we have had and point us in the best direction for us and our dog.

Lovely, geniune people with some fabulous dogs, both in look and temprement. I throughly enjoyed my time there and I'm very much looking forward to my next visit!

It is a big decission to decide who should follow our 12 years old Dogo Argentino. Our choice was a Corso. Once this decission was made, the hunt for the right dog started. With the internet you have acces to allsorts of possibilitys. At the end of the day it is down to (like the name of the movie): "Meet the parents". Parents here is actually understood twofold: the owners and the actual parents. We are from Denmark and "the parents" are in the UK. We saw "the whole bunch" when they where 2 weeks old" there where a lot of phone conversations, arrangements, Carmen and Claude showed a lot of professionalism in giving us time to think and consider, and at the same time advise openminded, and beeing down to earth. In the whole process of bringing "the precious" home to Denmark, this kennel has been absolutely helpful in all respects. We will give our best recommandation to Barbarian Corso Kennel. We are now sitting in Denmark with the feeling, which we belive are mutual, that we now have a little puppy and a new family as freinds.
