Cinemas 2&3 are by far the best cinemas in London. No stale furniture smell, plenty of room, great sound quality.
Free wifi in the cinema cafe - a good place to work between meetings.
This is the most confusing place on earth!
It is while walking across the square of the Frobisher Cresent that James Bond tells Tanner that Mr Slate was a "dead end" and M responds, "Oh my God he killed him" in Quantum of Solace (2008).
If there's nothing in the arts centre you want to see, at least you can wander around the imposing architecture.
Do the Architecture Tour! It's incredible, there's so much fascinating stuff about this place. Plus, for us it was a private tour with the super-passionate guide as we were the only ones on the tour.
The largest multi-arts centre in Europe. On sunny summer days enjoy a cup of coffee at its sunny terrace after an exhibition/play.
Best place for a Sunday afternoon walk, if you like concrete.
This is surely one of the best Arts Centres in the world. Is and has been the iconic home residences of greats such as London Symphony Orchestra and Royal Shakespeare Company.
Huge, comfortable and beautiful place. Must go and see for yourself.
"Prepare to be struck by how crisp and clear the acoustics are, in spite of the vastness of the 2,000-capacity main hall..."
It might look like it was built in 1920s Uzbekistan (then turned inside out) but, believe it or not, the Barbican is about to celebrate its thirtieth birthday.
An oasis of calm in the City, have a wander around if you're passing by.
The LSO is the Resident Orchestra here, and very proud we are too. The BBC Symphony Orchestra also play here, as do many great international groups and individuals. Not just classical either!
If your a under 25 don't forget to sign up online for Barbican freeB, Great offers and freebies :)
There are some excellent conference facilities here for meetings from 10 to 2000!
The menu is made up of small, British-inspired sharing plates and a Dine & Dash menu that’ll keep you no longer than 50 minutes -- or your money back. A cool cocktail list wraps things up nicely!
just go there
Waterside cafe is an inexpensive and good value place to eat with a choice of hot and cold dishes and desserts. You can get a main meal, dessert and drink for well under 15 pounds.
