Each year, around 2,500 Blackpool households approach the Housing Options Service for advice; of these households, 800 are formally assessed and are found to be homeless (JSNA Blackpool, 2019).
Unfortunately, there are limited resources to help local families in need and, during the winter period, supplies run scarce. With this in mind, Barcadia Media has pledged to help the homeless in Blackpool and it would be amazing if you could too!
We're on a huge drive to collect as m...any coats, jumpers, hats, scarves, and gloves as possible from the local community, but we need your support. To make a real difference and help those less fortunate than ourselves, hundreds of winter clothing will need to be donated.
From now until 13th December, we're opening up our office meeting room as Santa's Workshop where you can drop off your unwanted winter woolies for us to give to the Blackpool Community Homeless Project. Alternatively, if you're a local organisation that would like to get involved but cannot visit our Blackpool town centre-based office, you can arrange for us to collect your donations.

You can find Santa's Workshop located at 14 Edward Street, Blackpool, FY1 1BA - and is open between 8-5pm Monday-Thursday and 8-4pm Friday 🎅
