Excellent garden centre and cafe. Great selection of Christmas trees ranging from £25 (smaller) to £40 (7-8foot). Beautiful home shop as well a large selection of in door and outdoor plants and ceramic containers.

The cafe serves quality refreshments and home cooked food - in log cabin surround. I think they also offer OAP discounts in the cafe.

Dropped in here to buy the Christmas poinsettia, as we have done for years. They're not the cheapest, but on the one occasion my poinsettia lasted only two days they replaced it without a second thought. The display of Christmas trees and decorations in the gift areas is always lovely. Nice café too.

Good garden centre. Nice selection of plants and gardening equipment. Large selection of garden paving, pots and outside items. Lots of aquarium and pond related items and fish. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Tea shop is nice with good cake - they do hot food too. Easy parking.

A family run garden centre. Amazing place, anything to do with gardens you can get it there. A wonderful restaurant anything from roast dinners to scones (which were huge). At the end of the Toton tram stop. Enjoy.

Nice place to browse and has a good cafe too. Hot meals at midday or drinks and cakes to choose from..

Having worked at Pets At Home, there is a lot of bashing of Bardills amongst colleages for how easily they will sell fish to customers without questioning them too much about tank setups (whereas Pets At Home does the complete opposite and bombards customers with a 20 question pop quiz all about their tank). However, when one of my mollies gave birth to a tank full of fry, I needed to move these fish on as it wouldn't have been fair to have kept them in my already fully-stocked 60L tank. Pets At Home refused to take the fish in because "a lot of customers dump unhealthy fish on us". As I say, I was a colleague there and it would have been quite well known that I am able to easily identify unhealthy fish...needless to say all of the mollies were perfectly healthy. So in essence, Pets At Home would have been happy for these mollies to have lived and continued breeding in a space that was far too overcrowded for them, possibly endangering their health as well as the health of other fish. When I contacted Bardills, they said they could take them, no questions asked. It was simple and easy and I am confident that these mollies will have a much better life now that they have adequate space. I even got some free plants for my tank as a gesture of good will. :)

I've really only been here for the fish. Bought plenty off them in the knowledge that they will give me the right advice and supply only good fish. Any that they aren't 100 percent sure about are kept under quarantine and won't be sold. They have a great range at very competitive prices. Can't praise these guys enough!

Good selection of plants and the aquatic centre is well stocked and the staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Can be a little pricey but no more so than most garden centres. Easily Walkable from the Toton lane tram terminus.
