Barenakedfoods was founded in 2011 by Ross Mendham, who after years of dieting and worrying about the food he was eating, decided enough was enough. He thought there must be a low fat, low carbohydrate version of the food that he craves and loves. After hours of trawling through the internet, searching supermarkets and health food shops with no success, he decided that he would make these foods available to people like himself. In turn they could still enjoy the foods they loved whilst dieting or on a specific dietary plan for health reasons. Barenaked products are mainly designed for people that want to lose weight. Our foods have the same taste and texture of the food that you love and crave, without the dreaded weight gain. Whether you are dieting, want to lose weight, have specific dietary requirements or quite simply want to have a balanced diet, then our foods really are for you. We understand that we're all busy people and sometimes we don't have time to cook (which is when we go off our diet or plan) so we have made sure that our products are very quick and easy to prepare. We also offer a range of sauces to go with our noodles so that if you dont like cooking, you can quite simply open up the sauce, mix it in with the noodles and heat it up for a quick and easy ready meal. None of our foods have nasty colours or preservatives in and they are naturally gluten free. Our products also help regulate cholesterol levels and can even help prevent high blood pressure!
