We are a small vehicle servicing and repair company, carrying out all kinds of jobs to do with vehicle.
I have been part of the Simmonds racing team. Mark Simmonds (355) is a world champion with many titles under his belt. Scott Simmonds (55) is marks younger brother who is also a driver. Producing high standard work to aid the brothers in the bid to win the race was the main priority.
we began in 2015 with light /small vehicle work and repair over the last two years we have grow to where we stand today. No matter how big or small the job is we can do it.
Barkers carries out most tasks, from a simple battery change to more complicate jobs such as clutch installs.
As of 2017 we will be focusing on services and small repairs such as brake overhauls and simple engine work.

!!! Preventative maintenance !!!
Diana called us out to her Zafia which suffered from excessive carbon deposit build up affecting the throttle body and air intake system causing lose of power and drive.
We removed the throttle body allowing accessibility to the intake manifold for cleaning. Using a chemical solution injected into the air system whilst the revs being held at 2000rpm we was able to remove 95% of the build up and get the car back on the road in quick time.
... However this could have been avoided if routing maintenance was kept up to date and given a good drive on the motorway every so often.
