We are one of the most successful family owned providers of fun fair entertainment for all the family. We have been delighting tens of thousands of children and adults throughout the Midlands area for over 150 years.
If you or your organisation is planning a fete, fair, picnic, promotion, party, or special event; consider something new, exciting and different to keep both the kids and adults entertained; We offer a great range of services from Dodgems to children's rides, stalls and catering kiosks, in a safe and professional environment, at affordable prices.
The Barker family has been in the fairground business for more than 150 years. Born in 1837, John Barker operated a galloping horse's roundabout (Gallopers) until he died in 1897. He showed mostly in East Anglia, where he was known amongst the other showmen as the father of the fair.
Today the business has been passed down in the family to its current owners and brothers John, Martin and Joseph Barker. Together they own and operate several family rides including Dodgems, Waltzer, Extreme Frogs, Tagada, Sizzler Twist, Orbiter, Body Rock and Rhythm Rider. They also run several children's rides, a fun house and a ghost train, bouncy castles, stalls and catering kiosks.
The three brothers are members of the Showman's Guild of Great Britain which is an organisation for traveling fairs. All the rides are serviced and inspected regularly and can only be operated with a full safety certificate.
We also travel regularly to various places within the Midlands either with our own fun far or to support others. We tend to travel between April and November and places include Tamworth, Blaby, Nuneaton, Hinckley, Leamington Spa and Coventry! Check back to the page to see when and where we are traveling!

Monday madness cancelled We have taken the decision not to open today because of bad conditions of the ground and on the equipment, we apologise for any inconvenience caused. the rides are setting down now we hope to have better weather next year, as this years wakes has been a washout.

Barker's amusements remains at Tamworth castle grounds. We are currently closed and will reopen Friday to bank holiday Monday.
have allways loved going to barkers even when worked for them years ago it was grate taking my kids to a good fun fair
great fun and cheap and that's how a fair should cost not 2.50
Taken my kids a lot of times in various locations, Very friendly staff and good value for money with lots of attractions. The new sizzler is wicked and the dodgems but my favourite is the waltzer in all its glory. See you definitely at Tamworth fireworks �night. A big thank you Tyler n Madison ��

I took nieces last weekend I thought I was gonna chuck up after going on the tip top, the rotor done me in!!! Cheap and fun tho
I took my children on the 22nd july at pingles and we all had a brill time staff was very friendly only downside is the price of hook a duck ..... They all going again today :-)
Fair is fantastic my kids love it.... when your in nuneaton we come down atleast 3/4 nights....
Only down side for me is everytime you have came its always been the same rides ive seen you have some new ones but havent seen them at nuneaton yet ...
Very disappointed with the toilets provided.... everytime ive used them they have stunk or have been in a complete mess...( public should respect this yes but think if you provide toilets you could respectfully clean them )
Excellent value for money , made even special to have my boys favourite super hero's walking around
Cheapest fair around and the rides are great for my thrill seekers! All the stalls games/food are all very reasonable too. We'll definitely be back
Went to barkers fun fair last night in nuneaton. staff seemed friendly. Extreme was a amazing ride went on it twice also sizzler was great. Only downgrade was my little sister went on the bungy thing where you jump on a trampoline my mum paid a £1 but only got one minute of it. What as the point. But it was a good night
Came to Coventry Fair on Saturday. I want to say in terms of selection of rides to fit all ranges, it is the best I have been to in years.
I was really impressed.
I have read comments about the price but we were lucky to come on the a 50p ride after buying wrist bands. This was brilliant as we are used to paying £1.50 to £2.50 per ride in Milton Keynes with no wrist band option!! Loved seeing security staff around. Well done to you Barkers ����
