Barkin' Boarders Description
I have had dogs all of my life and have now realised a dream and opened Barkin' Boarders, home from home doggy holidays.
I know the worry that can accompany leaving my furbaby when I used to go on holiday and my aim is to look after your dog as well as I would my own.
When my Westie died, I did not feel able to get another dog and set up this business instead.
I will give your pet my personal attention and care. It is my intention to go on a good long countryside walk every morning, come rain or shine then the dogs can sleep or play, teatime walk and just before bed round the block walk.
They can sit on the sofas and they can sleep either in a crate, a dog bed or my bed whatever puts them at ease.
I bake wholesome dog biscuit treats for them and they will be looked after as if they were my own.
I invite anyone thinking of booking their dog in at The House at Windy Corner to come and visit first and discuss your dog's needs and the treatment you would like whilst you are away.
I am not a dog walking service but the dogs will be walked every day.
I am offering dog holidays, day care, hospital stays and respite cover.

Quietest ever trip back from the beach today. Mainly because I was hoarse from calling Maia and Hugo who both buggarEd off into the sand dunes and were grounded (leads on)when they did eventually return. That was probably more of a punishment for me as Hugo nearly dislocated my shoulder
Garden sprawling. Good job I have my new fence being fixed soon because Ollie tin ribs can climb through!!
Another morning at the beach. Much warmer today. Quietest trip back in the car, EVER! 😂
They all went for a dip this morning except Ollie who was far too sensible. I think Maia found some wildlife in the rushes. She was very excited.
Super trip to the beach with Ollie and Hugo, Maia and Milo. And the quietest trip home in the car ever, 😂
All is quiet.
This mornings walk to the ponds. Ollie, Hugo and Jasmine went in. Jasmine also rolled in fox poo. Lily was a lady.

Madness on the playing field today when Chewy from next door joined in.
Sat in the sun this afternoon but it turned so cold.
Beautiful Rolo
Izzy was digging a hole this morning on the beach, she is such a beauty. The poos were just their loony selves.
Lovely walk in the drizzle but Izzy, the pond. Really? Hugo also had a dip 😂
Not that good a picture but after grooming Izzy, I left her fur in the garden and this is a crow collecting it up to line his nest 🙂

Last day of Stevie and Rolo’s holiday so we have been to the beach with Ollie and Hugo. Only 15 more mornings of Hugo walking on my head to wake me 😂
House sunbathing because it is cold outside despite the sunshine. Rolo had a good splash around in the pond this morning and is all pooped out now. I shall cherish 5 minutes of quiet, not move and barely breathe 🙂
It may have been sunny but it’s icy cold out there today. Every time I took a picture, Rolo ran out of shot so no pics of him today
