Barley Studio and Helen Whittaker are award-winning designers and conservators of stained glass windows.

Barley Studio’s team of award-winning conservators, craftsmen and artists provide expertise and technical excellence in all aspects of supply, production and care for stained glass. We undertake projects on glass of all periods, from the medieval to the present day, and of all sizes, from small domestic repairs and installations to major cathedral works.

The studio was founded in 1973 by Keith Barley ACR FMGP and has gained an international reputation for the high standard of its stained glass conservation and restoration for the nation’s cathedrals, stately homes and parish churches.
Barley Studio is also known for its new work, with designer /artist Helen Whittaker MA AMGP winning commissions for many prestigious buildings across the UK.

Barley Studio’s multi-skilled team covers all aspects of stained glass and related metalwork: environmentally protective isothermal glazing systems, restoration and supply of ferramenta and opening casements, stainless steel wire guards, period style plain glazing and antique glasses, consultation, surveys and reports.
