Did you know we do outside catering? Anything from a meeting at your office to a buffet for 200 people. We create bespoke menus with each client to ensure you get exactly what you fancy too. We deliver and can even serve to save you all the stress if entertaining..Whether you want a traditional sandwich buffet, cocktail canapés, vegan feasts, BBQs or traditional roasts! We also love themed events Our garden and upstairs space are also available for hire too. Can we help you with anything??

We have bread, coffee, tea, cakes and plenty of smiles.. but due to a chiller malfunction we may not be able to offer our full menu. Come give us a hug!! We need one!

We love our Meet Up Mondays sessions and they are so popular.. we welcome new people every week! We are also aware it can get very lively and some people may prefer a quieter chat so from next week Meet up Monday’s Quieter Zone will be upstairs! So come along.. bring your neighbours.. have your quieter chat with your cuppa xx

It’s getting busy here as summer approaches and we are looking to expand our team. Are you lively and energetic? Up for a challenge? Great with people and delivering friendly customer service? Have you experience in food service, waitressing or food prep? We are offering 16 hours a week Tuesday, Wednesday and every other Saturday. Please pm for more info as can be flexible for the right person. Sense of humour important too 😃

The Barleycorn team are resting today after an amazing week and fabulous day yesterday! Lovely to see so many people in the cafe yesterday enjoying the sunshine in the garden, and also serving all the music fans at Barton Mills Summer Solstice Festival.. you loved our savouries and cakes.. we had sold out by 9pm! And lastly we were honoured to be chosen to help a lovely couple celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary and serve a BBQ and heaps of salad to load up the plates...busy day ....so today we rest... until tonight that is when the team are off to see the Stereophonics... Barleycorn Rocks tonight!

It’s Suffolk Day! Come celebrate with us today! We want to hear your favourite Suffolk memories! Lots of lovely cakes.. new gluten free brownies, our famous bread pudding, some vegan chocolate tarts too.. along with gorgeous puff pastry savouries and salads!

We need your help! We are expanding our vegan menu and also desserts so need to know what you think we should include.. the feedback we get on our vegan options is fab and we always sell out which is why we need more to choose from..we want to be the ‘go to’ place in Mildenhall for vegan food...and desserts... fancy cheesecakes? Chocolate truffle tortes? Pavlovas?? And .. two pop up nights planned.. one vegan and one just for desserts! Who is up for those?

What a lovely day! We have Hayley and Beth in the shop and Shelby and Sonny at our regular Pop up cafe at Isleham Farmers Market with a touch of Craft.. both stocked with fresh salads, home made quiches, scones and gorgeous lemon cake too! we will also be welcoming our first Postpartum pastry group!!So .. your dilemma is which do you choose this lovely Saturday??
