Barmston Beach Holiday Park

Beautiful small site with all amenities. Close to beach & cliff top walk. Lovely place

This is a good site basic really but caravan was very clean and plenty of room for our family and the dog.

As a Barmston static caravan owner reading these reviews, I would just like to comment on why there are no things such as lamps or cushions inside, or chairs and tables on the deckings of many caravans. It's because anything like that which isn't nailed down gets stolen. I made the mistake of buying nice cushions when I first bought my caravan, and the next time I visited they had gone.

Treated the parents to a weeks holiday here and certainly wasn't disappointed. Very polite lady on reception and all other staff were very friendly too. The caravan was immaculate and the park itself was very clean. Just a short walk away is the lovely long wide beach which is great for an early morning or late evening stroll, which we did a few times. The bar/restaurant was nice and clean and the food was very nice with a good mixture to choose from. Some people may find the food and drinks a little expensive, but I think that depends on what you've gone there expecting and also what your use to paying. All in all this is fantastic little holiday park set on a beautiful part of the East Yorkshire coast. Will certainly be returning soon.

We arrived early which meant we could have a good look around, the park clean and the staff friendly. When we were given the keys to the Caravan there were More than enough space we could fit two cars between the caravans, which made easy to unpack. The soft play is lovely and my girls loved it very clean and nothing damaged. Their favourite part of the holiday was seeing pipsqueek and the ladies who brought her out were so assertive. My daughter went crying to her Grandma when a game became a bit rough for her, (she was lite compared to the other children playing) and. Member of staff from the activity came to see if she was OK! Staff at reception were extremely helpful when a kitchen appliance had broken and tripped the electric, quickly made an exchange. The secluded beach is amazing! A fence could do with been placed around the eroding Cliffe. We visited the beech several times and was always clean. Very impressed highly recommend and would definitely visit again.

Nice little park. Next to the beach. Ideal for dogs to have a good run. We had a power cut on site while we were there. The communication between staff is an issue..as they were unaware of the power being off 10 hours. Shop on site is very over priced..so call at the supermarket before you go. Meals on site are also expensive. They would be used more if the prices were not over so inflated. 10 quid for some no make suntan lotion. Come on Barmston pull your socks up.

If you can get the caravan on the NW corner, you're in for amazing views. We were lucky.

In the middle of nowhere so you need a car and not well signposted. Area around looks like a land that time forgot with a closed down caravan dealer on the main road which looks like it has been disused for a while. Club house very small but doesnt get busy. Bar prices high and caravans are very tightly packed in. Badly needs a refurb, there are much better parks in the area. Its cheap for a reason!

Superb. Sis and I (plus her Lab dog Sam) stayed there last year for a week and I've just booked a different static caravan for this year and I'm now so excited to be going back.

Pick you spot carefully. We got the one next to the park. Not terribly but not great. The rest of the facilities are good enough.
