Barn On The Bay - Beachside Farm Wedding Venue In Northumberland

Calico Barn is a high quality Bunkbarn / Hostel situated right on a prominent cycle and walking route on beautiful Druridge Bay in Northumberland.

We opened Calico Barn in 2016 as group accommodation on our farm. Since opening we have had many requests from brides and grooms looking to hold their wedding here. As we had our own wedding reception here we know how special the Barn is so we successfully applied to become a licenced wedding venue.

We now offer our barn for rustic weddings where the couple can add their own personality into the day. You choose whether you use the barn and it's paddock or add on a tipi, marquee, whatever for your reception. Even whether you have a structure overlooking the beach, did we mention that it's only a minute's walk across to the sands of Druridge Bay?!

We can offer a variety of accommodation on site, a beautiful cottage with hot tub, rooms in the barn, glamping and camping.
