If your children are needing help in understanding why they aren't in school at the moment, we have produced a social story, which can be found on our Facebook page under "menu" on the left hand side. (I couldn't work out how else to upload a file 🤷)

As you know from Monday's 'assembly' this week's Barndale's Got Talent Challenge was to draw a rainbow and whatever you can see out of your window. We have had lots of entries already! Beautiful pictures, well done everyone 👏
Good morning everyone, Northumbria Police have been in touch and asked us to warn everyone about an increase in coronavirus-related scams. Please look at the attached link for the type of scams that are currently circulating and how to report them. Be aware of anyone you don't know offering home cleaning, home testing kits, offers of home deliveries etc.

There is a scam going around where they send the victim a te...xt message saying they have been seen out of their house on more than one occasion which has resulted in them being fined £35. There is a link for the victim to click where they can enter their cards details. The message appears to come from gov.uk. Please do not enter any bank details anywhere - banks will never ask for your details.
Don't be afraid to hang up, bin it, delete it and definitely don't open your door to anyone you don't know. Please be vigilant and safe.

COVID-19 Reminder to all parents and carers
From Monday 23rd March school will be open but our residential provision will be closed. You are kindly reminded that school is only open to children we have identified or those whose parents are classed as key workers.
You should only send your child to school on Monday if you have to. If you are able to keep your child at home, you should. #StayHomeSaveLives
Just a little update and a HUGE thank you on our #busforbarndale minibus campaign.
We have had amazing support and would like to say thank you to each and every one of you who has supported, shared our post and donated to our fundraiser. This includes Hayley Rutherford, Clarty Commandos, "Janet's Dad" and over 20 other generous donors. We are incredibly grateful and are pleased to say that we are only a few pounds off having raised £8.000! ⭐️🤩👏
