Covid-19 Protection Guidance for Wastewater Workers
Essential Workers
The NADC have contacted the Prime Minister’s Office and have been informed that wastewater contractors are deemed as essential workers. Essential work is considered emergency work and required maintenance works (including essential water company work).
... Barnes Drainage will be continuing to help the people of Norfolk and Suffolk in these tough times. All non essential works have now been postponed until we are over these troubling times to limit the risk of infection. All emergency work will continue so if you do have blockages please get in touch. The issue can be spoken about over the phone, email, or txt, and then payment and receipt sent electronically so no contact is required. Stay safe everybody 🇬🇧

Another weeper drain installation. Not as much room this time and the weather was awful! Clever planning, kept the garden tidy
Builder: that’s an old manhole that’s not in use. (In-line with the other manholes and didn’t water test from the house) I’ll fill it in and wash the concrete lorry out....... ooops! Big mistake! 😂😂
New weeper drains for a septic tank
Couldn’t resist stopping 😂😂
Little bit deep this one! 👀
Little 5m dig and a couple of local liners to repair dropped pipework and root ingress
Attention builders!!!! Familiar site on older properties, the old clay pipe surrounded in concrete. Chisel away to get a good connection only to keep breaking the pipe. Save time and money with this little fix. Local liner bonding new to old
😲🤦
Tricky little hand dig last week. Telegraph pole fixing, wall supports, existing surface water system. All squeezed in 👌
Remember folks, flossing is very good for our teeth 🦷 but....... extremely bad for our drains! Bin it don’t flush it!
Merry Christmas to all customers new and old
Bet you’ve never seen anything like this pot drainage system 😝🤣🤦♂️
