Barnsley Woolley Miners Cricket Club

Barnsley Woolley Miners Cricket Club was formed in 2016, by the merger of Barnsley CC, which had existed since 1862, with Woolley Miners CC, a club steeped in the history of coal mining, hence the new name.

It is one of the biggest cricket clubs in York

Our club has a large number of teams which cater for most ages and varying levels of ability. We have strong connections with Yorkshire County Cricket Club. Over the years, a number of Barnsley CC players have been selected to play for Yorkshire and England.
Ours is a beautiful ground with excellent facilities, situated just outside the town centre. We are always pleased to welcome new supporters and members.
