As well as a good brushing routine (twice a day for two minutes with fluoride toothpaste) it's also important we are careful of how much sugar we consume in our diet and don't exceed the recommended daily maximum of 30 grams of added sugar a day. Lydia has worked in dentistry for the past 10 years, initially as a dental nurse, then graduated from Leeds Dental Institute in 2016 with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy.
She is very enthusiastic in her work and enjoys helping patients achieve and maintain a healthy smile. 😁... She is a firm believer in pain free hygiene visits and particularly enjoys helping anxious patients overcome their fear by creating a more positive experience.

As its close to Easter, we all know that sugar in the workplace may be morale boosting and get you on-side with colleagues but bringing cakes and biscuits into the workplace too often can have a detrimental effect on the oral health and wellbeing of employees.
