Went to barrow boys today with my family and its absoultly amazing. The staff are all so polite and lovely and the actual bar is put of this world. Its stunning� will be returning for sure!

Went there for a business lunch today. Very friendly staff (one of them sat with the person I was meeting until I arrived), great service and atmosphere and the food was fresh, hot and very tasty. A great addition to Humber Street.

Visited last night with wife for drink to celebrate wedding anniversary from the outside totally unassuming until you walk inside and all I can say is Wow Thomas Joshua Coyle your bar surpassed everything great atmosphere reasonably priced drinks live music and as a host you spoke to every one keep if up tommy just what hull needs will defintakey be back

Popped in on Humber Sesh Weekend.Asked for a cocktail not on the menu and we were sorted out in minutes. All staff were friendly and helpful, especially Ash and Becks. We will be going back for a meal soon.

Popped in for a cocktail last night. It was lovely, the service was great & will definitely be back for more :-)

Paid a visit to the barrow boys the sunday day after it opened all I can say what a beautiful bar very friendly staff and the owner came over to see if i and my guest were happy with the service it s very hard to please everyone but the staff seemed to be doing a pretty good job when we were in

Just been today for food and drinks, absolutely loved the place. Food was beautiful and the place it's self is so unique. Definitely be back again.

Had a great evening. This bar has a great atmosphere, and the whole decor and feel was great. The staff were fantastic, the door staff gave us a very friendly welcome and when asking member of staff where the ladies were, we were shown rather than directed, which has never happened in Hull. Attention to details in every aspect was excellent. And I have to say the air con!..... Thank you! Just one suggestion, full length mirror in the ladies would be appreciated �� fantastic bar, well done everyone.

Came here last night for drinks and was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. From the outside you wouldn't expect it to look as nice as it is on the inside. The decor is lovely as are the drinks and staff. Jack and I want to say Liam really looked after us and made sure we were never without a drink. The singer was fantastic and was a great addition to the bar. There isn't another bar in Hull like this I personally think and i will 100% be recommending it to people. Thanks for a fab evening and will be back again soon.

Beautiful themed bar, staff attentive, food was delicious and well presented. We stopped for lunch mid week, relaxed atmosphere, good music and respite from the sun, well worth a impromptu visit.

A very enjoyable evening. Very busy due to Humber sesh but service was excellent. I was surprised to see so many reviews commenting on wait time etc. on here. Hopefully, as people have said, it had been just teething troubles. All staff from door staff to the glass collector were genuinely working hard and all had a pleasant nature. The bar manager Becks made cocktails for us that were not on their cocktail list despite the bar being busy. I believe they had some new staff on for the weekend and I would recommend holding onto them as they were quick, efficient and cheerful. Tommy was busy keeping everything looking ship shape and had an obvious pride on how the evening was going. I wish his family the best and hope their new venture is a success. It’s brave to offer something new in ‘Ull. When I’m back in the country I shall definitely be back to try the food.

I wanted to give this place 5 stars but we waited so long for breakfast and then they all came at different times .. not great. £10 for a full English with no toast was a little on the high side too.. Staff did their best but hoping it’s just teething problems as it’s beautiful inside.

Thank you to Tommy Coyle himself who graciously took care of not only our bill but everyone else’s in the restaurant at the time due to the waiting time of food. Nice touch and very much appreciated.

We will return... hopefully next time we will rate it a 5 �

Disappointed nice place inside and out but went Sunday for breakfast no beans or toast offered no sausages left and charged £10 not good 😫🤐

Decor lovely, not busy as it was a Sunday afternoon, but did wait longer than I would expect for 2 cocktails! Staff didn't apologise for the wait or even smile come to think of it! Maybe they were having a bad day!

What a shame beautiful bar .. friendly staff.. just been for a barrow boy breakfast .. we wasn't told that they had run out of sausages and we asked for no black pudding .. so few rashes bacon 1 egg few tomatoes and a mushroom £10 each ... then with a coke and cappuccino £26.00 the bill .. after bring up the sausages we got the drinks free .. people had waited over an hour for food and walked out .. another big party got all their breakfasts different times.. hope it's just teething problems ..

Very disappointed, over priced and over hyped.



Ridiculous prices too..and a 20min wait for table service... they’d be better sticking the waiters behind the bar than provide table service. The place is too small for table service anyway...



Decor is cheap... looks like they’ve shopped in B&Ms.



Red hot too but both air con units switched off?



Should maybe rename it, Pikeys Paradise?

To charge £28.70 for two pints and half a coke, the service, surroundings and experience really does need to be exceptional. It wasn’t. A little more joy and enthusiasm from the Sunday bar staff would go a long way and the toilets upstairs need regular inspection to keep spotless. I can see what the owners are aiming for, the booths and bar are exceptional but those prices are only going attract clientele that demand the very very best.
