Barton Bicycles

I bought a cheap, second-hand road bike here. Barton Bicycles had by far the best options for my (low) budget and desire for something fast. An old frame with either new or newish parts. Staff we're really helpful and polite.

The 6-month warranty means the few breakdowns I've had (it was an old bike after all) have always been free and my bike's been fixed within a day on both occasions. They even offered me a replacement bike and lock when I wasn't able to collect on the same day.

Can just highly recommend Barton Bicycles as they really went the extra mile and provided me with great sales advice and the very best choice for my budget.

They also gave me the websites of their distributed brands to have a closer look at home and didn't put any pressure on me (and my heart), which is a nice and welcoming experience in this busy and hectic world.

I am not buying in this shop anymore, the owner's son is so tricky. I visited them for a front gear cable replacement. Few days after, for a back wheel replacement as well. I spent a fortune. My daughter started complaining that the bike was not the same anymore. I ignored her and few days after I noticed that the new back wheel was much more bigger than the last one and the gear did not have any cable !! The mess that this gay did all around my vintage bike!!

Got recommended here by two separate friends. Been using other random bike shops in Cambridge for past 4 years, and haven't had very nice experience in most of those. But here at Barton service was great, gentlemen were really friendly nice and patient. Intended to repair my bike tyre, but decided to trade it in for a better one at a reasonable price. New bike feels comfortable and great.

I bought my Duchess in Plum from Barton Bicycles and I really love this bike. Overall I would say great service and friendly team of people.

The next bike I will buy from here will be the sports bike in the window or the next sexy Dawes bike in a rich colour.

When you buy a new bike your happy when you buy a second-hand bike you sometimes want the shiny one. Just buy what is practical for you and take good care of it and above all buy 2 locks.

Great service always very honest and trustworthy, take all my bikes there for a service including my road bike.

If I could give them no stars I would, these guys have no shame and just rip you off.
Got given a bike and took it there for a service, the young guy said it was a good bike so worth getting done. First he said it needed a new crank, break serviced and gears sorting and we agreed to £60, then he said it would be £75, then he said he had had to do something else to it and it would be £100- I could have got a new bike for that but as he had done the work already I had no choice and paid up. But the worse bit is that 5 months later the the crank has failed as my pedals are nearly falling off, the gears are not working properly and the back brake sticks and is dangerous so I took it back there to complain and he wanted to rip me off again! like I said, find another bike repair place and do not use this one!!
