To all my family and friends and All know my brother Peter mason he had a heart attack sometime between Friday and Saturday he is in Scunthorpe General as I post this still after his angiogram today we now know he has one artery fully blocked and one artery Half пҝјblocked and they are saying he will need a full heart bypass at this moment in time we donвҖҷt know when thatвҖҷs going to be as he has to be now be assessed by the surgeon from Castle Hill Hospital anybody that does know him and would like to send him a message or text I am sure he will appreciate it and also help him get through this ... пҝјпҝјпҝјпҝј

*Club Statement*
Morning everyone, this is a follow up message from the post we made the other day.
The Yorkshire RFU have been in touch with the relevant parties at the club and have explained the following:
... The YRFU have had to make the unfortunate decision to cut the remainder of the season short due to COVID-19. But, fortunately for Barton Rugby and a select few other teams who are currently in the top 4 of the league are going to play the play-offs like originally planned.
The dates of the semi finals are bound to change. We will wait and see over the next month or so to find out when the semi finals/ final will be played.
We are still sticking to the RFU Guidelines. So no Training, Games or gatherings will be held by the Rugby Club until further notice.
The Semi finals will be played by the following:
Pocklington RUFC 3rds vs Driffield RUFC 4ths
Withernsea RUFC vs Barton & District RUFC

The RFU announced yesterday that all rugby activity will be suspended at all levels due to the wide outbreak of COVID-19.
Barton Rugby can not do anything else but follow the guidelines set by the RFU, so with this all training, games and the clubs O2 touch rugby will be suspended until the 14th April.

Unfortunately our scheduled game with Hull University on Saturday is cancelled. Hull couldnвҖҷt field a team and had to call the game. Sorry for any inconveniences.

Barton RUFC are please to announce that we are hosting their first ever Annual Golf Day. This is to be held of the 24th July at Normanby Golf Club. Please see the below invites/participation forms for this event. These forms can either be collected from Barton and District RUFC, Barrow Sports and Fitness or requests one through the post by contacting Oliver Brett. We hope to achieve lots of interest in this event to run this every year. If you have any questions, please also contact Oliver and he will be happy to assist you if possible.
