We were so lucky to have our daughters wedding here it is an awesome venue for any occasion the staff are amazing nothing was too much trouble I have no trouble recommending Barton Hall it’s definitely five stars �

We had our wedding here and it was amazing. The staff are so friendly and helpful nothing was too big or too small. The venue is just stunning and the foods was lovely. All our wedding guest said the food was the best wedding food they have ever had. Thank you again and see you soon

This is a very pretty place right on my doorstep and I've never paid any attention until we were given some vouchers. The food was simply stunning and the staff were very attentive. I have a nut allergy and this was taken seriously by everyone. I often find that restaurants never quite know what to do when I mention it. They were brilliant. The duck melted in the mouth and looked a picture on the plate. My partner commented on the chips being the best he'd ever had. As for dessert, that looked even more impressive on the plate. I had Pimms jelly with a semi-frozen mousse. It was stunning and tasted incredible. I think the only thing that we weren't expecting was the price of the wine which we felt was a little expensive.



All in all, nothing was too much trouble for the staff and we never felt rushed to get out. We loved it so much we are considering returning for our anniversary at the end of this month.

Thanks to everyone at Barton Hall Hotel for hosting my wife's special birthday yesterday, and to Chelsea especially for helping me to organise it over the last few months. All the staff on the night were fantastic, the food and drink were perfect and we all had a great time.

Stayed here last night with my bessies and could not fault the place. Stylish and very clean rooms, gorgeous food, attentive staff and beautiful surroundings. Special mention to Charlotte who looked after us during dinner and breakfast and clearly knows her stuff when it comes to the menu. A really lovely place!

Lovely place for a great meal and great nights sleep. Most pleasant staff and most accommodating. If I had been a mystery shopper for Bookingdotcom I would have to say it was the best hotel I’ve stayed in, eaten in and definitely visited this year.

Lovely meal last night for my friends surprise birthday meal. Philippos arranged everything to perfection👌🏼⭐️Food was amazing and service was impeccable despite being really busy. Well looked after and well received by all of the girls some of whom hadn't been before but we will ALL be coming back soon. Thank you!

I own Paige's Elegant Occasions so I'm very lucky to decorate weddings regularly at Barton, from this point of view I knew Barton was the perfect venue for me and my husband!! We visit different venues all over the country and I can hand on heart say that the staff at Barton are second to none! They look after all of their couples not only on their wedding day but throughout the run up to the day, nothing is too much bother for them and they will go the extra mile to help you and make sure your wedding day runs smoothly and you with your friends and family create memories to last a life time! My wedding day was perfect from the night prior and checking in to the big day itself and the day after! Barton went above and beyond to help me as they alway do and we had the most wonderful wedding ever!! Thank you so much to Becky, Shelly and all of the lovely team at Barton!!! Xxxxx

Had our wedding tasting yesterday and all I can say is amazing.... both the service from the happy staff and the incredible food. Even more excited for my wedding there in December.

Had our wedding here on the 26th October and couldn’t fault them on anything. The Orangery and hall are stunning, the food was fantastic and all our guests commented on both how nice the food was and how well they were looked after.

We would like to pass on our huge thanks to Becky, Shelley and Connor for making our day so memorable and special.

Becky and the team here are amazing! We had the most perfect wedding day and we were blown away by the professionalism and effort that went into making our day so special.

From the moment we met Becky we just had the feeling that we would be in safe hands and the venue was just stunning so we booked our big day with no hesitation!

The setting was more beautiful than we expected and it just seemed so personal as opposed to mass wedding productions.

From start to end the service we received was above and beyond and nothing seemed too much trouble.

Our day was simply perfect and all our guests had the most wonderful time and all commented on the stunning venue and service they received, including how amazing the food was!

A million stars for Barton hall and the team!! I genuinely felt on the day all the stops were pulled out and we were made to feel like the most important people in the world!

Came to celebrate my mother's birthday. Service was very good , staff very efficient food was nice but very small portions.

Nice building and surroundings but a little let down with the food. Although it was nice it wasn’t 5 star and the service was average. Smoked salmon started was dry as if it had been standing exposed for hours, dry toast with no butter. Main course was nice but again very dry.... not enough gravy and no sauce offered. Deserts were great! Brandy coffees were poor and were a mess as the cream didn’t float and there was no offer of a replacement or consideration off the bill. All in all the experience was OK but we had expected it to be better than that.

28th wedding anniversary dinner....steak was ok but my wifes lamb was in short supply, surrounded by scoops of an unknown substance and the presentation a little poor. Desserts were again mixed, my sorbet was good but it was after all just three scoops of typical sorbet, my wifes peach based dessert was dry and tasted stale. I'm putting it down to an unfortunate "off night" as i take alot of business clients here and its usually much better...such a shame the quality wasn't there on such a personal milestone.

Went to this place last night and I have to say the food was not good. It was very dry and to say the least I was very disappointed �

Went on 5 October took my husband for his birthday faultless review on trip advisor � booked for 30 October an anniversary didn’t seem like the same place ordered fish chips when they came if they’d been any browner they’d have been Black sent back reappeared less than five minutes paler but not cooked the waiter was apologetic but tried to say to much sugar in potatoes definitely not triple cooked chips Friday menus say the waiter comped drinks which we refused we didn’t go out for free drinks we went to have a nice meal the should have been embossed to send them out felt let down because they were very accommodating my allergy which is why there was nothing else We have the first of December lunch booked not sure we will go I emailed the manager but have had no response

A response would have been professional � thank you to the food and beverage manager for contacting me yesterday very apologetic which I accepted apparently no email reply was because it went to the GM and he was away so now looking forward to eating there soon ����

Just returned after our overnight stay at Barton hall. It is a beautiful place but sadly let down by the poor food it serves. Me and my husband both ordered a sirloin steak med tovwell done , when it came out straight away you could see it wasn’t sirloin , too thin and flat . It was all fatty and chewy and very bloody. The chips were all dried up and endsbif chips. Nothing was hot only like warm and the pepper corn sauce and blue cheese sauce were very bland and same colour , we couldn’t tell at first whose was whose. On the plus side our room was beautiful and very quiet to sleep . Breakfast was better . But we won’t be returning.
