RESULT
Our 1st XI continue to search for that first League Win of the season after being beaten in a close game at home yesterday. Broughton scoring 274, with a great century from Nick Dobbs. Barton managed to get 241 in reply with a great 84 from Skipper George Short and a 50 not out from Alex Shreeve!
Great team spirit and the re-build continues!

A massive well done to Dan Knapton on his debut senior 50 today for our 2nd XI who were closely beaten away at Haxey! The future is bright... рҹ‘Ҹрҹ‘ҸрҹҸҸрҹҸҸ

The 1st XI recorded the first senior win of the season today easily seeing off Alkborough 1st XI, bowling them out for just 46 with 3 wickets a piece for Lennon Ward, Tom Palin and Bradley Hodson, with the final Wicket being a Lennon Ward Run out! Skipper George Short and Oliver Mussett knocked the runs off without losing a wicket!
Top team performance all round!

Our Junior Vikings have been busy at it this week during our first week of Junior Games!
Our U13 started off the week away at Haxey and gave a very good account of themselve but were beaten by a very good Haxey Side.
Last 2 of our U11 sides were in action, with our U11 2 side facing Broughton in the cup, and yet again some very good debut performances and great cricket from Broughton meant the hosts came out Victorious.
... But a special mention has to go to our U11 1 side who in the very first game of the season visited Caistor CC U11 and claimed the clubs first WIN of the season!
Well done to all our juniors who took part this week! Heres to a long and succesful season!
